I walked into the Wine Merchants on a Thursday afternoon. Being the only customer in the store, I expected to be greeted with a "hello" or any sort of acknowledgement. Instead, the owner gave me a dirty look as he continued to speak with his employees. When he finally decided to grace me with his presence, he asked me what I was looking for (The Hunt Red Blend from Sonoma County). He responded, "We dont carry the shitty wine you probably prefer from CVS or Wal-Mart." Considering it is a limited release wine from the Biltmore Estate, I was a little taken aback. He continued to blow me off the entire rest of my time at the store and made it obvious I was an inconvenience as he placed phone calls and continually sighed as I looked around. If you want to be treated like crap and given rude looks while trying to give someone business, then please head on over to Wine Merchants Gourmet.

Come here if you want to feel like getting the extra special attention and care you need. Each bartender and server make you feel like the only customer in the place. Excellent food and service! Be sure to stop by on Saturdays for wine tastings and sign up for their email newsletters. Music each Friday night is always worth the trip. Grab a bottle from Michael, Nikki and Vanessa... they are always willing to help you find that special bottle. Stop by and see for yourself!!
