I have purchased my running shoes at Omega for 15 years. I recently went in to get a new pair of Asics and told the sales associate that I wanted the same shoe that I was wearing. He took me to the current model and I tried them on in the size Ive always worn. They felt fine, but when I walked in them the following day, they were really snug by the time I finished my four miles. (I had also ordered a second pair to be picked up when they came in.) This evening I took the shoes into the store and they wouldnt take them back. So, I now have one pair that fits, and one pair that is too tight. There is no way I could have known by trying them on in the store, that they would not fit as the former model did. The manager said that if I had purchased Brooks shoes, I would have had a 30 day comfort return, but not with the Asics. I am sure the store could have returned my once-worn shoes to Asics, but they didnt offer that. I will not go into Omega Sports again. There are plenty of places to buy running shoes and athletic wear. Im very disappointed.
