Shoppers must follow the rules. 1. Certain items (like oil professional-quality paint, about $12 a tube) cannot be taken from the shelf until you search the store for someone to unlock the case. Youre not allowed to carry your purchase to the cash register. (At Hobby Lobby next door, the same items are on unlocked shelves -- and cheaper.) 2. To check out, you may not approach the cash register until bidden. You enter a maze of left-right-left-right shelving units that force you into ever-narrower aisles. Once youre in the final squeeze chute (like a slaughter house), you must wait there until called. It took us twice as long to check out as it did to find the items we wanted to buy. Later, we went to Hobby Lobby, a stones throw away. Compared prices. Wed have done better at Hobby Lobby.

Love this store and their friendliness of the cashiers, but they need someone who is more pleasant running the craft room. Took our child for the first time today to paint a kindness rock and needless to say we wont be back as the lady running it was anything but kind. The worker was so busy getting the next craft set up (she had her back towards us most of the time) that she was quick with instructions, had absolutely no interaction with our child, and was overall cold. I asked how her day was going and she responded with a quick reply and didnt even inquire how ours was. Our child only did a quarter of the craft there and came home to finish the rest.

I really like this Michaels, the staff is friendly and they are up to date with new materials and seasonal changes. They offer a big selection and can point you in the right direction if you need some help. One staff member gave me some great ideas during Christmas time when me and my son were going to make homemade ornaments for my parents. Thanks!!!

Store has been in decline for several years. What was once the best site in the area for silk flower purchases is now the worst. The staff today was absolutely clueless. Had no idea where anything was. Very disappointing. The store was also hot and stuffy. Went down the street to another craft store to make my purchases.

Great products and selection here if you are a craft lover, need anything festive or decorative for the holidays, the do great custom framing work on art and photos and have it all here. The lines can be terrible on the weekend so plan accordingly. Also, always bring a coupon!

I went here to have art framed for a Christmas present. The work was completed, but the art was slightly damaged. They offered to reframe another piece for free. It was excellent. Friendly service, good prices, large selection. Ill be back.

Good place to buy craft supplies. Aisles are clearly labeled and store associates are knowledgeable. Their custom framing work is good. The candle scents dont hit my nose as hard as at other craft supply stores.
