Hanes Mall is a very sanitary, safe and spacious place to shop. It took me 3 different trips just to visit all of the different stores! I really enjoy the larger-sized Earthbound, Sephora, Shoe Dept., and Rainbow stores, which equals more selections! For the vacant stores, it would be fantastic to see a Lush store arrive in the area, since the other 2 for NC are located in the eastern triad region. Some other suggestions are Wet Seal, Gloria Jeans coffee, Disney store, Icing by Claires, Barnes & Noble, and/or a toy store. Would also like to see an extension on the food court area, Hot Topic, Pacsun, and Rue 21 plus. You wont leave empty handed!

Despite the surrounding demographics and abandoned stores near the mall, this mall seems to keep on trucking. The biggest reason this store gets 4 stars though is the pretzel stand. In fact, it has two of em. You also have plenty of decent choices in the food court. The odd thing about this mall is when they expanded it, JCPenney never moved, so if youre in the north wing & wanna go to the south wing, you have to cross through JCPenney, which I suppose isnt bad. In some cases, this probably keeps them going. Also, be careful around the stands. Some of the people there are really pushy.

LOVE this Mall so many great stores and plenty of variety. Kept clean and contemporary in style. Easy to find what youre looking for. Just wish the Mall directories had a You Are Here symbol. Food Court really lacks variety, a lot of the same or I would have given this Mall 5 stars. FYI for visitors: JC Pennys is in the center of the mall like a tunnel, you enter one side and the Mall continues on the other side of it. Take note of your entrance so you dont get confused.

I like this mall. It has options for all family members and budgets. There are activities scattered throughout, so the guys and kids are interested too. There is a great selection of restaurants in and surrounding the mall, so once in the area you dont have to drive far. Its always decorated nicely and usually clean. There is usually ample parking. The worst thing is due to its popularity is it can be crowded and traffic is slow getting around the area.

Large Mall, normally clean and good variety of shops. I avoid weekends due to higher foot traffic. Decent food court with Italian, Thai, Chinese, Subs, Pizza, Chicken, Smoothies and Habachti offerings. There is also a pretzel place, two cookie places and a Cinnabon. There is a full service Tuesdays restaurant. There are also two childrens play places, a train and a bungee jump place. Major stores include Macys, Dillards, JC Penneys, Sears, Belks.

Good mall, gets a lot of business considering its the only major shopping mall in Winston Salem. Coming from a bigger city you may notice some of the stores arent as well maintained or updated but the selection is for the most part just as good if not better than some bigger city malls. Im a fan. Easy parking too, not the best public transit access though so if youre visiting town it would be better to Uber in.

Mall is located in a greasy location region interstate 40 with roads well laid out so traffic is quick to move. Great selection of stores and food court. Park at JCP as the mall is split into a north and south mall both anchored to opposite ends of JCP. Anchor stores have better selection of merchandise than smaller malls without the congestion of Pineville or Tanger Outlets.

Ive lived in winston my whole life and the mall has definitely been a central part of this area. Over the recent years there has been quite a few changes. Some of the stores I used to shop have closed down or moved. I dont shop here much but have felt a sense of downgrading. But there still is a great variety of shops. The food court still has plenty to offer as well.

Its not bad for a mall. Lots of shops. some good, some bad. Only a small few are affordable, but you can find tons of shops with sell racks. The sell racks keep your piggy bank intact. Theres also wi-fi all over this mall but be warned... its not very good. TRAMP NOTE: There is a thick homeless community always flying signs at this mall. Try not to step on toes.

Youll find good shops here and whatnot. However, I got lost Black Friday and the staff from the mall wouldnt help me because Im over 18. Wow. I had to wait outside in the parking lot for my party in the cold (my bf had the car keys). I also hate the sales ppl as you are walking through the mall. I know I have skin problems, gosh... dont remind.

This place is absolutely awesome! The atmosphere is clean and there is a lot going on all around. My favorite thing is the selection of stores and the set up that makes you feel like you have explored the whole place then BAM! A whole new section just as large as the last with just the right consistency of stores between, its pretty great over all!

I love hanes mall there are many stores to choose from to shop. I dont go as much now unless i just have to go. The holidays are a great time of year to go there to shop also you get a chance to run into people you havent seen in years. Some times you can catch a great deal but you have to get there quick cause that item will sale out quick.

One of the top five malls in North Carolina and definitely worth visiting. When it was originally built it was the largest in the state and remained so for many years. They continue to invest in the mall and we still love going as much now as we did 20 years ago. Also Sunday afternoon is a great time to visit. Its usually quiet then.

Its a mall, it has lots of traffic and never seems to have close parking. Ive lived in town, 3 miles from here for almost 6 years and Ive managed to only go into the mall a short distance ONCE in those 6 years. I dont expect to return, except to the post office with an outside entry, if I can avoid it in any way.

Parking isnt that bad and its only two floors so its not to monsterus. I like being able to park close to the store that I want to go to and run in and run out. Also, Google maps is set locally inside the mall so you can see where you are and look for stores and even use GPS to take you to the store.

It used to be a busy place, but there are a ton of empty shops. They never properly clean the kids play areas, and you will always find trash and sticky areas. I have lived in enough areas to see malls die, and this one is on life support and only seems to be around due to the only mall in the area.
