I purchased a UTV from these guys. If you read the negative reviews that the owner responds to on here you will see that he is not high on professionalism. I drove 2.5 hrs to look at the unit and upon arriving was passed off to a "salesman" who told told me several very untrue things. First was an attempt to address my concern of purchasing and getting warranty service for a unit manufactured by a relatively unknown company. I told him I could not afford to make a bunch of 300 mile round trips should I begin to have problems. He proceeded to tell me that they have not had a single unit come back for warranty repair and that even if I did have trouble, they would make sure I found a service center closer to my home. I purchased the unit (which also had a dead battery that was supposed to be swapped out while I was filling out my paper work but wasnt). Well, I did have several issues within the first 50hrs of riding time, every time I called, the owner progressively got shorter and shorter. Eventually becoming down right obtuse. Even after I told him what his salesman promised, he showed zero concern for my situation and the nearly $10,000 yard ornament I purchased. I did find out, on my own, that their were two service centers near my home. The first was very hesitant to take it in, I got a bad feeling and contacted the other. The owner of the second was a great guy. He was extremely knowledgeable, had a first rate repair facility but...................he was uninterested in servicing my unit. You see, he was familiar with Big Toy Superstore sold products and told me about two UTVs that were brought into his facility for repair, both were sold by these jokers. He said both customers could not get assistance from the dealer and in the end, he wasnt even compensated for the warranty work he performed. Yes, the same dealer that told me that they "HAVE NEVER HAD A UNIT IN NEED OF WARRANTY REPAIR". Eventually I got in touch with the owner of the UTV company. They ironed things out with the service center and the issues are being fixed.....nearly a year later. They added time to my warranty and are satisfying my claim. Some of the delay was also cause by the fact that Big Toy didnt even take the time to complete my warranty registration! I experience a great deal of the same issues that those who wrote bad reviews also experienced: Poor attitude, poor customer service, minimal knowledge about the product and the big one for me was dishonesty. The fact that the salesman flat out told me that these units never had issues will always make me angry when I think about it because after a quick google search, its easy to see he lied and he knew that these have a slew of issues. I would buy anything from them if North Carolina turned into a dust bowl and they had the last drop of water known to man. "Terrible" doesnt even come close to describing this place. I wasnt a customer to them, I was a mark.

This place is a joke doesnt deserve a star.bought 2 go karts and have had nothing put problems with them and everytime they suposely fix them they break down in seconds of getting them home. Just a few days ago i took both go karts back.this time i desided to test ride it before taking it home and what do you know it breaks down in there parking lot. When i tryed telling them they didnt fix the go kart they just walk away whispering to each other finely one guy goes Ill call you in alittle bit. About 20 minutes after i left they call and say its fixed.this time i go back with my husband and the one guy was very rude like he is everytime we have gone there. My husband takes it for a test ride and it seemed fine.they call me on my way home and the first thing they say is how much money do i want to put into my other go kart. They tryed to tell me that my battery was bad that i just bought stale gas how is that possible when we just got done riding and putting gas in. They named of few other things to. At this piont i was done with this place we told them not to touch it we would be there in the morning to pick it up and take it elsewhere. I get there first thing in the morning to find that they had left my go kart outside all nite where it could be seen and taken by anyone. I go in to confront this guy and all he could say is your go kart outside. I go outside and my boys tell me that they have cut wires on the go kart.i then open the door never walk back in to say something to them about cutting wires on my go kart. The man in blonde hair not sure on his name think he may be the owner rushes towards punches me with both fist in my chest and smached my hand in the door. He is not only a crook but a women beater. No man should put his hands on a women no matter what. I had the right to be there i was picking my go kart up. Dont think you got away with putting your hands on me nor will you get away with cutting those wires. I will make sure people know how you punched a women. Comment back all you want with your lies and rude comments cause people can see all the negative feed back on you and the fact you have a d- with the bbb. Save your money and go elsewhere kevin powell motorsports is a way better place to go

We bought a dirt bike for my son here, brand new. When we got the bike home, we noticed that the gas cap would not tighten completely. I went back to ask about it and the owner said I needed to buy a new cap and handed me one for $13 and said it was the correct one. When checking the other bikes like the one we bought, half of the gas caps were stripped as well. The salesman said kids come in there twisting them and strip them all of the time, yet they wanted to act like it was probably our fault that the gas cap was ruined. I brought home the $13 cap and it did not fit. I was already kind of irritated that I had to buy a gas cap for something that was supposed to be brand new. And now it was the wrong one that they sold me. My wife brought it back and they told her that the right one was $30. My wife brought up the point that the bike was supposed to be under warranty and they told her that it was only everything internal that was covered. My wife then asked for the money back from the wrong gas cap and they tried to tell her they would only give store credit. She insisted that they return the money because they sold us the wrong product and finally the owner gave her a return. But it was not all without an attitude. They treated my wife like it was our fault that they sold us a bike with a faulty gas cap and that we were wrong for them selling us the wrong cap. We gave this company good hard earned money and after we were out the door with our stuff, thats where the friendliness ended. I dont care how cool your store is, or how good of a physical product you have is, customer service is also a huge part of your overall product. Maybe the employees and owner are so strapped for money that they dont do the right thing and fix mistakes in order to maximize their sales, but guess what, what are you going to sell me when I dont return. Where is your customer retention skills at? Surely losing me as a customer isnt worth your precious $30 gas cap compared to what I had planned on spending at your store in the very near future. Good luck with your business practices and I would not recommend doing business with such snobby and selfish people. They do not stand behind their products.
