I wouldnt have had my wedding in Wilmington if it werent for Salt Harbor Designs. Jennifers design aesthetic is unparalleled in the region--I knew we HAD to have them when I saw their website. I was very interested in Charleston as a destination site but came across planning/design firms that required an unusually high budget minimum and then an astounding commission off of the top of the entire cost of the wedding. Salt Harbors no-pressure atmosphere made the year of wedding planning (which can turn even the sweetest bride into Bridezilla) such a delight--I got to pick all the fun colors and fabrics while Jen and her team dealt with all of the logistics and vendors. I used every one of her recommendations for other vendors (catering, photography, entertainment, etc) and again, my effort was minimal. They orchestrated the entire experience with such little stress for us. From our first planning session, she ran with my very vague ideas and transformed our day into magic. Guests commented that they were constantly anticipating "whats gonna happen next?" as Jen had planned a slew of surprises for them. The whole experience exceeded any expectations Id ever had. Im now trying to make up other parties for Salt Harbor to plan--cant you have a wedding every year on your anniversary??

As soon as I got engaged, I knew I had to have Salt Harbor as my wedding planner and florist. What I didnt know was how much more than that Jennifer and her team would be come. Everyone is very friendly, genuine and professional. Jennifer was so reassuring from the very beginning that my dream wedding was possible with my budget and that our venue would work perfectly (we were a bit concerned about our guest list number and having both ceremony and reception there). Anna, their office coordinator (and more in my eyes!), was always on top of things and just a phone call or email away, and gave great advice as a recent bride herself. Jennifer is a true artist when it comes to flowers and decor. I was instantly in love with the rustic, casual feel of our wedding, that some how at the same time felt elegant. She completely got us and what we had envisioned our day to be. She is truly an expert! Laura, our wedding director, was simply amazing! She was right there at every moment I needed her, handle any issues that arose (which in the moment, I had NO clue about, as it should be, and did not hinder any fun!) and really helped to make sure our night was just as we had imagined, and honestly even more! I cannot thank Salt Harbor Designs enough for our beautiful wedding!

After deciding to get married on Bald Head Island, my husband and I took to Google for inspiration. We kept stumbling across the most stunning wedding photos that all had one thing in common: Salt Harbor Designs. We quickly got on the phone with Jennifer and set up a meeting for the next time wed be in NC (we live in DC). We were sold from that very first conversation and it turned out to be the greatest wedding-related decision we made (aside from saying Yes of course!). Jennifer, Lindsey and Anna made the entire wedding-planning process a total breeze. From Jennifers gorgeous design concepts to Lindseys tireless coordinating and Annas uber-organization, Salt Harbor had us covered from Day One. Long-distance wedding-planning could have been a total nightmare, but thanks to Salt Harbor, we were able to enjoy the entire process. By the time the wedding day arrived, we continued to be wowed by the design, layout, coordination, flowers and every last detail. Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding day 3+ months later - primarily how the entire evenings look and feel seemed to match our personalities to a tee. We truly cannot thank Salt Harbor Designs enough for producing the most perfect day, one that well never forget!

The girls at Salt Harbor Designs in Wilmington, NC OUTDID any other event planner I have had the pleasure of dealing with!!! This was my second wedding and I was determined I was going to be in charge, but the girls at Salt Harbor took my suggestions and just went to another level with them! I was really concerned that the flowers not be "tacky wedding flowers" and she shocked even me with the beautiful flowers and original ways that she used them! There is such a fine line between tacky wedding decorations and elegant and I can tell you these girls know the difference!!!!! Fabulous to work with, I truly miss meeting with them!!!!

Jen and her team are the absolute best to work with. After meeting with other event planners and florist in town, I knew that Salt Harbor was the perfect fit for our wedding. Their creativity, kindness, patience, and thoughtfullness made the entire planning process seamless. We had a tight budget that they were able to stretch as far as it would possibly go and didnt go over. We could not have done it without Jen and her wonderful team.I highly recommend Salt Harbor!!!

Prejudice against people with smaller budgets. I would never recommend after my rude experience, but I surely wont forget to tell people who NOT to call.
