I called a couple weeks ago and discussed my shoe needs with Nate who seemed knowledgeable and was quite nice as well. We decided I should try a Hoka, New Balance and Saucony in both regular and wide widths. He assured me he would order what they didnt have in stock, then call me when they were all in (since its a 2 hour drive for me) so I could come in and try them. Someone (not Nate) from the store called ~10 days later so we made the drive down and asked for Nate. He was not in so I asked the lady at the front if there was someone else in who was truly knowledgeable ... she suggested the manager, Bill. When I walked back to the shoe section there was a nice young lady store employee so I asked her for Bill, she pointed to him, I observed that he was busy so I waited. Once he was free, she told him I was waiting for him but he diverted me to her. She retrieved the shoes and here is where my significant disappointment occurred ... 1) Only regular widths of each of the three shoe models, NOT one wide width; 2) Although the young lady was quite pleasant, she admitted to me that she had not been completely trained so was not knowledgeable enough to advise me. Needless to say that I was a tad frustrated that 1) I was called prematurely, i.e. half the shoes that Nate suggested I should try on had not come in; 2) Bill was too occupied with other things to assist me; 3) This after having driven 2 hours (with a 2 hour return trip as well!) to support a "local" store. So yesterday morning I Called Road Runner Sports, discussed my needs with a customer sales rep, came to a mutual conclusion as to what brand & model might work best for me and ordered two pairs of $150.00 shoes and save $113.00 over the price I would have paid at Omega Sports! Their (Omega Sports) loss, my gain. I tried to support them but the customer service, in my experience, was not even up to par with more than one Dicks Sporting Goods that I have patronized!

I recently purchased a pair of new running shoes here. The sales associate was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. She took the time to explain to me why she was selecting the various shoes I was trying on. At no point during my visit did I feel rushed or like just another person in the store; it was very personal and inviting. I left the store with an awesome pair of shoes that fit me perfectly. I will be returning here in the future for all my shoe purchases!

Excellent customer service! I tried several different kinds of shoes and inserts, but continued to feel incredible pain from plantar fasciitis. I went in one evening after work and met Thomas. He watched me walk across the room a couple of times, figured out my problem and found me the perfect inserts. For the first time in 6 months, my feet dont hurt! The podiatrist couldnt even do that! I will definitely return.

Ive shopped at Omega Sports for running shoes for 14 years. Recently, my son has started running and the whole staff has been great in helping and supporting him. We recently were fitted for new shoes and my sons immediately caused blisters and an overall bad experience. Omega took the shoes back and allowed us an exchange without argument (and without a receipt). Ill continue to recommend them for as long as I can!
