Saw the T.V. ads about your approved , Buy here on the lot financing , Etc , Etc . My credit is less than perfect and I needed a truck so I contacted Car City about financing a truck . Erica said I was approved !! Come on in . Got there . Waited 30 minutes to talk to someone . The owner and his sister walked by us several times and never spoke . Filled out a real credit application with Andy . Waited 2 hours . When I got ready to leave Andy got James the finance manager and he told me that I was approved but the deal on the truck would be conditioned . Andy said call back the next day . Called back . Andy said I couldnt buy that truck but I could buy something that was 2005 and newer had a payment of $450 or less and had less than 85,000 miles . The interest rate was going to be 18% . Waited 3 weeks and nothing came on their lot that would fit my needs and their conditions . Went to a new car dealer . Bought an 07 model truck with 112,000 miles financed at a credit union for 5.9% with a payment of $395.00 a month . All I paid was my tax and tags . Here is what everyone should know about Car City . They want to get you financed at a bank . The buy here pay here option is never mentioned ................ If you have shaky credit contact a new car dealer that has a relationship with a credit union .I am so glad that Car City didnt put me in a ride .

The people at Car City in Whiteville... Where can I begin. They are truly now - A group of the Nicest and most professional "Angels" that Ive ever experienced in my entire life on earth and I an 58 Years old. Let me explain something to you. When someone not only offers to help you, but comes through 100 times better than you could have even imagined - They deserve all of the Blessings that life can bestow upon them... If you dont go to Car-City for a Car... Somethings wrong with you, or you just dont know better. Let me say this and Im not being forced or paid to say any of this. From the Owners, to the Managers (Jay - I Just Love this Guy with all of my heart) and Sales (Desiree - Is the most sincere Car Salewoman, and I love her too). I cant express enough Love for the Owners because just when It seemed like I wouldnt be able to get the car - She pulled out and ironed out all of the wrinkles and rough spots to make it happen. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DO YOUR PART - THESE PEOPLE ARE MERCHANTS FROM HEAVEN. I Love You Car-City That includes Whiteville (The Whole Staff) and Lumberton... YOURE JUST SIMPLY THE VERY BEST THERE IS. If I had a Radio-Station - Id broadcast this all over the Carolinas. I LOVE YOU AND ILL ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU - EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

Ive never experience a car dealership so horrendous in my life. The envioment was nauseating. Within my dispensable two hours of sitting in there disgusting waiting area, I witnessed faculty yelling at one another, and unsupervised children running all over the place. Car city is nothing but unprofessional. Its just really unfortunate that I wound up bringing my truck for something as simple as a inseption, and they still found a way to pull a undoubtly sleazball move.

Bought a car two months ago from them and the alternator started acting up got stuck a couple of places went to get it fixed and they told me I went over my mileage so they couldnt fix it now I gotta pay out of my pocket for this lemon so save yourself the heartache an buy somewhere else

My daughter bought a car from them. They did not stand behind there vehicle. I felt they preyed upon the young inexperienced buyer. Her father and I were out of town when the purchase was made. Not a place I would recommend doing business with.

Great Place to get a car, Had to wait about an hour, they said they could find me a better deal. Luckily I waited. They got me approved with a credit Union. My credit is not perfect. But I am glad I went to see them! Austin Was my salesperson!

Id stay away from this place as I know many people to have issues with them. They overcharge on vehicles and take advantage of you. Stay away especially from Jay White . Hes bad news..

This Location is the actual Corporate Car City Store. I would check here first for all of the cars in stock, and to business here first before the one in South Carolina, and Lumberton.

One of the worst auto dealerships in Lumberton. Cars are overpriced and undependable. Also, their commercials for $99 down are deceptive. Stay far, far away from this dealership!

Car city sold me a lemon. I was told there was nothing wrong with car...they lied. Bad alternator, cv joints, suspension, engine, and tranny. They Will not return my calls.
