First of all the other two reviewers obviously have no idea what they are talking about. First off one guy accuses the store of "stealing" his deer meat. He may not be aware of this but when you turn in deer meat to be processed, realistically youre not going to get back 100% of what you gave them. 70% return is pretty average and from my math he got about 76% back, he should be happy. Secondly the other lady who says to avoid this place at all cost because they gave her the wrong cut of meat. She wanted a pork shoulder and she goes on to explain how they wrapped it up all conspicuous like, and she gets all the way home only to find out she has a Boston butt. If she had any clue, she would have known the butt is an interchangeable name for the shoulder (its the top half). So you have one person complaining about not getting enough meat back (when he in fact got more than average) and the other person is complaining about not getting the correct cut of meat (when in fact she did). So please ignore the ignorance of the previous two reviewers. Now on to my review. This place is absolutely great, and I would recommend it to anyone in the triad area. I knew I was in the correct place when I advised I was looking for a pork shoulder and the kind lady behind the counter responded "how big do you want it?" The quality of meat that i received was much better than any local grocer including The Fresh Market. I will not purchase from any other establishment as long as I am close enough to drive to this great hidden secret of Greensboro. They are a family run business and have been around for over 50 years. They do things the right way and have a life long customer here.

AVOID!! I went here looking for a boneless, skin on pork shoulder. On the phone I was told they carried this and when I went in to get one I was told that all they had was bone-in shoulder and I should get a pork butt because they would be able to de-bone it. I declined and said I really just needed a boneless, skin-on shoulder. Then the story changed and he said he might be able to do it. He brought out what was supposedly what I asked for, let me look at it, then put a sticker on it and rang it up. He put it in a bag for me and when I got home and got the meat out to put it in the fridge the sticker said pork butt. He had sold me the butt, even though I had asked for the shoulder and was very sneaky about it.

I have had deer processed at Triad Meat Co., (aka Anns Meat Market).......The first ime I dropped 97 pounds of cleaned deboned meat off to be ground into hamburger (I weighed it prior to droppin it off) and when I went to pick it up, I got only 74 pounds back. I should have gotten between 100-105 pounds back after they added 10% fat to it. The next year I dropped off 136 pounds (again I weighed it prior to dropping it off) to be ground into hamburger and only got 88 pounds back, when I should have gotten approximately 150 pounds back. They stole over 60 pounds of hard earned venison from me in two trips. They have proven that they cannot be trusted and I haven bee back since and will never got back.

A great place with quality meats! I purchase hamburgers and hotdogs to cook at Church events and Fundraisers..... typically for over 150 people. The burgers cook up great with very little shrinkage... but taste juicy and tender. I served the hotdogs with the chili they sell in 5 pound containers and everyone keeps coming back for seconds.... The staff is always friendly and helpful....... I rate this facility at five stars....! If you really want a taste sensation.... buy their 8 ounce bacon wrapped fillet and cook it on your grill...... you will give up ribeyes... lol

I buy pork belly at Triad Meat Company to cure my own nitrate / nitrite free bacon. I find the pastured meat here to be of the highest quality, far above the quality of the "commodity" pork found elsewhere. I think highly of the staff as well because of their willingness to help and their friendly and cheerful attitude.

My husband and I live in West Virginia and travel here often come here to visit our son. We have found that the service and quality of the Meats are always exceptional and the prices are great. My husband loves their sausage . We always bring a cooler so that we can take meat home. Thanks you .

Compared to same healthy cuts at big name stores its comparable its not like your gonna save a bunch of money by no means. Quality is where they knock it out the park. We host events and get request for hamburgers n hotdogs they are great there chili is really good too.

Never been dissatisfied w/ Anns/Triad Meat...they have always been very helpful they even carry it out to my car if I need them too. Sometimes you might think the meat looks bad if its gotten a lil brown...do some research sometimes brown is better☺

This is my go to Butcher. The staff is friendly and professional. The meat is fresh. Not pumped full of solution to plump the weight. They have THE BEST ground sausage on the market.
