This is definitely one of the local gems in Charleston thats a bit off the beaten path but so work making the trip for. Bob Cook and the crew at AMS put out some of the best food youre going to get with a pretty large "deli-style" menu, specials that are always fun and surprising, and pop-up/collabs with some of the best folks in Charleston doing interesting food. A recent pop/collab with local food truck Short Grain comes to mind, with inventive dishes like spaghetti baos and philly cheese fried rolls (lumpia-esque). On the normal menu there are winners like the classic Italian sandwich and Nutty Knuckle, great sides to go with your sandwich like pea and peanut salad and their stellar mac and cheese. They have classic sodas on tap and a host of other fun little things to try while youre there. Some of the best breakfast sandwiches Ive had in some time. Sausage was extremely tasty, delicious kimchi, perfectly cooked eggs and creative sandwich toppings. Hot sauces are fly too! Great service and a great alternative to other "biscuit" or "breakfast" places on King. Addendum: GET THE NUTTY KNUCKLE. In addition to great breakfast sandwiches, these are the best sandwiches around, period. Best sauces around, period. Best pork rinds around, period. Shall I keep going? Quickly becoming my favorite place to eat in Charleston. As an aside, we were very satisfied with their meat platters for parties. They just know how to do pork...period.

This is probably the best sandwich Ive ever had! The Artisan Meat Share is tucked away on a side street in Downtown Charleston. Inside is small with limited seating; inside has serious charm. We had to wait approximately 40 minutes for our sandwiches but it was worth it. If you are planning to dine here for lunch, Id arrive at the very start of lunch OR wait until after 2pm to avoid as much of a wait (we arrived at 12:45pm). My husband had the Italian and said it was the best hes ever had. EXCELLENT!

Wow, what a cool place and an asset to Charleston! This small, laid-back little joint has great meat-packed sandwiches and an assortment of local craft beers on tap. I had the shaved pork sandwich, which was very filling and the mac n cheese was super cheesy and to die for! Super friendly and fast service, definitely worth checking out, but the sandwiches are heavy so it may be your only meal for the day!

Cool place. Wife had the hot chicken and biscuit and I had the Italian. We shared Mac n cheese. We were impressed with the quality of the sandwiches...and the beards of the employees. The mac n cheese was alright. A little tight on seating, if I had to pick a con. Will definitely return.

What can i say other than awesome. We stopped in for lunch and then later in the day for the happy hour special. Lunch was outstanding with the Mac and cheese being a highlight. The cheese board was phenomenal paired with a mild grenache

Cool place, good food. Ive had the Italian and the Porchetta sandwiches. The Porchetta is my favorite. Macaroni and cheese is outstanding. They had wings here once for a special and Id love for them to be added as a permanent menu item.

Artisan Meat Share is my favorite sandwich in town. The meat and ingredients are fresh, the price is low, and the beer selection is limited but good. I highly recommend the porcheta. A must visit if you are a local.

The Hot Fish Sandwich was so big that I literally spent about 30 sec just figuring out how to attack it. That little bit of planning paid off, though...it was seriously one of the best fish sandwiches Ive ever had.

Beyond awesome! Grab some street parking, order at the counter and you must order the mac n cheese! Share a sandwich btwn two ppl, or grab a quick charcuterie board! Appreciate the greatness of each bite.
