After reading the other 5 star reviews it seems that something terrible must have happened to this place.... When I walked it the odor of rotten meat just about knocked me over... The temperature in the store was almost more humid than it is outside. The meats dont look fresh and they were bathing in their own sticky meat juices... I would guess by the look of the meat that the coolers arent at an appropriate temp. And to top it all off the guy behind the counter touched the meat with his bare hands...

5 Stars isnt enough to rate how amazing this place is!!!! Sausages are awesome. I was in on Saturday and the Butcher had done a bacon wrapped sausage stuffed pork lion!!!! It was delicious to say the least. Staff was amazingly friendly as always and were spot in with their recommendations. Lastly the smell of smoked meats is intoxicating, If he could bottle that sent and turn it into a candle Id buy a case!!!

freshest meats, bones for broth, bacon, chickens, eggs and baked bread in the city. also, the staff is wonderfully friendly, knowledgeable and supportive of the farm to table movement. A must visit!
