Unsure if these reviews are legit or done by the owners friends or old, but the reviews dont really capture the "shop". If you can really call it that. It caught my eye when I was looking for The Lost Ark one day and flipped my lid because an anime shop, what!? The weather that day wasnt particularly cool and the temperature in the place was a lot more humid and hot than it was outside. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is that it is like a basement. To your right is a little display case with collectible trading cards and artistic wall scrolls on the walls that look to be decorating the store, but apparently theyre on sale? In front of you will see bean bag chairs encircling a T.V to the right. The walking space was tight, so I was bumping the poor guy sitting in the chair by accident with my bag. To the left is a round display table with few Pokemon and anime beanies that are also apparently for sale? Beyond that and dotted around the basmentesque place are white tables meant for playing cards, apparently? There was a Bleach sword replica? Looked like an amateur created it and wasnt really great quality. Kudos to them for trying. Theres not much merchandise besides that and used anime/manga. Feels less like a shop and more like a hangout for the owners friends. I dont recommend, but I believe if they put more work and dedication into the place it could be good. The idea was in the right place, but seems to be executed poorly. Other than that, the owners were nice and polite, I would probably only suggest this place if youre looking for like-minded Otaku. Like.. REALLY Otaku and you have absolutely nothing to do. Like.. REALLY nothing.

Rhiannon Coltrane

This is an awesome place to chill out for a few hours. They stream anime by request, so you can catch up on your favorite shows and find new ones. They have a nice selection of anime themed video games you can play as well. The only card games they carry are weiss schwarz and Luck and Logic, but their shop has a pretty large following of players, Thursdays and Saturdays are the big weiss nights :)

Hector Perales

Very unpleasant visit to the Super Smash tournament tonight! With around 15 players and only 2 set up and the T.O was very rude! He yelled at the players and didnt know the difference between winners finals and grand finals. Also took my set up and while the set up was not being used i lcouldnt do any friendlys on my own setup. Will never go to this tournament again!

Ive never been, but seen pics and reviews online and it looks amazing! An anime shop in Greensboro... I cant even describe how happy I am! What I dont know is if they have Gintama merchandise. If you do, thats awesome, but if not please get some. Either way, this is the best shop ever!!! When I actually go, Ill have a lot more to say.

Great store and great prices! Owner is a great guy and is very friendly. They have a great selection of exclusives and things you wont find outside Japan. Will definately be back again for more of the scrolls and figures.

Friendly staff that are knowledgeable about anime, card games, manga, and VR Games. Plus they just opened a new VR Arcade down the road and it has the best pricing not just in the US but better than any in Canada as well!

Very nice place to go and watch anime and hang! They have event nights that could have any nerd slamming down their best cards. And the owners are super nice. Awesome customer service :3

Very nice staff, awesome hang out spot. They could use much more merchandise and at better rates in my opinion, but other than that its a unique hidden GSO gem.
