I try so hard to avoid this store all the time. The customer service manager is a real witch! Everytime I have to deal with her is a pain. During a store promotion recently I had to purchase five of an item to get a coupon back. The cashiers are ghetto and un professional carrying on so many outside conversation she rings up four packs of an item bag up five I hand her my coupons which should have paid for my order. The coupon didnt go through because I hadnt spent the full amount I grab something still not realizing cashiers mistake. Until my coupon didnt print, I go to customer service explaining the cashiers error an instead of her acknowledging what happened she jumps down my throat asking me what Im trying to do an telling me shes on to me an then charges me for the item that would have been much cheaper with the use of my coupon. Then another store manager comes up knowing nothing about what happened and attempts to jump on me the shopper, like he knows me. Glad i stood my ground even though they tried to put me in a corner when they dony want to adhere to there on atore policy and promotion. Wont ever be back in this location will drive far an wide before I deal with the badger management staff.

Food Lion has always been our Wal-Mart alternative. You can always find items on sale that youll actually use. All their prices are not cheap, but thats okay. It beats having to deal with Wal-Mart. I like that my local Food Lion is upgrading and remodeling. MOST of the people there are nice and friendly.

They need to improve their produce and grocery selections. They dont barely have any organic items and the tiny ethnic foods section is dusty. I picked up a container of Nido and it was covered in dust. They spray too much water on the peoduce making it so heavy and causing it spoil faster.

Food Lion is really trying to catch up with their competitors. They are reminder have remodelled many of their stores to modernize. Most are offering special sections for vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free products. They are a work in progress but get points for upping their game.

I bought some cheese there on Friday with the food lion logo opened it Sunday and the cheese was Molded. Yeah I will not be shopping back there again very disgusting. I have uploaded pictures here of the molded product and send a complaint to Corporate as well
