Almost consistently poor. Your manager, Kenny Duda, does nothing except stand around with his long, greasy hair. Some checkers have poor attitudes. Most recent experience: July 17, 2014 you advertised "hens and chicks" potted plants. Of course, there were none in, and in speaking to the lady filling produce, there were none in the back of the store. She said, "Apparently, he forgot to order them". You owners of this store ought to be ashamed of yourselves. This is the only game in town for many, many elderly people. You have failed all of us. I only shop at your store when I need something small, or safe to eat like frozen foods. I shop at Giant Eagle; but, I used to be a loyal Foodland customer. Obviously, I am now a loyal Giant Eagle customer.

White Chocolate

This place is filthy nasty. Its too bad for the residents of Monongahela as its the only close grocery store. A competitor is down the road and probably a better bet. This place is over priced, the selection is poor and its so nasty I didnt buy food here. Look at the pictures. You shouldnt have holes in the wall and ceiling, peeling floor tiles and towels/water absorbers to catch run off from the leaking freezers. Great way to provide water for roaches and other bugs. The irony is their sign says they provide a clean store. Um... no.

AMANDA BERARDELLI

Overpriced for mostly very expired items. Cashiers seem bothered, and make you feel unwelcomed. Needs to take time to fix up really exposed ceiling, walls, floor etc. Just overall a filthy place that I know could be better. I now take my grocery shopping to Giant Eagle or Aldi.

staff is terrible, rude and seems more concerned with socializing than working. one woman who works behind the lotto machine/cig counter is so rude i have no idea how she still has a job. i live less than 5 minutes away and avoid this place as much as possible.

If your looking for bread, milk, eggs, they got it. If your looking for ANYTHING UNIQUE, like a premium hot sauce, or wasabi, they dont carry it. Stay away from their deli, as you will end up with random meat mixed in with your sliced cheese.

I love Foodland. Ours closed in bethel park. So the closest one is in Monegehela. Its a little far. But the drive and town is really cute.
