Whenever Im in downtown Durham, I stop by Letters Bookshop. Its locally owned and always has something different and interesting to offer. Even though its a small shop, its a place that I could be lost in for hours. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I love to support locally owned, so this is my go-to bookshop.

Awesome bookstore, had tons of interesting books, both popular selections as well as interesting titles Id never heard of but wanted to purchase. Books are listed at reasonable prices, definitely a good way to find a new read or kill some time while youre waiting for a table at Dames Chicken and Waffles.

I love this place oh my goodness. Its so cute and they have a lovely selection of books. Some books are used but very very gently so they feel new. The selection feels very curated which gives it a really personal vibe and not as catch-all as like a Barnes and Noble.
