The people who work at this location are absolutely full of themselves if not downright ignorant in the most passive-aggressive fashion. They speak in tones that would indicate they are of a greater degree of knowledge and insight in an arrogant, uppity manner to their customers where is always this undercurrent of perpetual snide within their comments. Their book recommendations are naive and you sort of get the feeling that they only cater towards how they feel on an opinionated basis, but have no real grasp of the content is they are selling. Unlike the employees at Southpoint, who always treat every customer with a degree of humanity and decency, I cannot recommend these people in any way, shape, or form. The only reason many even go there to this location is because it is closer, not because of quality.

Great store for books and good selection. They have games and figures and toys too. A good selection of magazines but they could add more to their comic and trade paperback section. Cafe has great coffee and lattes and such along with pastries and muffins. Employees are nice and helpful and store is very clean. My only complaint is that the prices are sometimes too high imho, hence why I cant buy all the books I want to read and also utilize the library and library apps, but I will not stop shopping here. I just buy ones i will keep or cant find otherwise. There is just something about holding a book in your hands vs an electronic device that will always keep me coming here.

While I enjoy all Barnes & Noble locations this is not one of the best. It is a smaller store and has very little comfortable seating. In fact, the only seating at this store is at the Starbucks Coffee area. There are no comfortable chairs like at the Southpoint Mall location. I havent been to this location in a few months but the last time I was there the section for Graphic Novels was extremely small. I will take a trip to this location soon to see if they have expanded the Graphic Novels section like they did at the Southpoint Mall location. One thing I do like about this Barnes & Noble is the fact that the magazine rack is one big wall on the side of the store.

The one-story layout feels cozier than the two-story version you may be used to seeing in shopping parks. Its the same basic selection of books, perhaps slightly abbreviated because there is less floor space with the single story, but the store is deeper and broader to accomodate this. The Starbucks cafe has plenty of chairs and tables. Ive never seen it packed to the point where 2/3 of the chairs were taken up, never hopelessly crowded like the BN at Southgate sometimes is during peak hours. The service staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Its a quiet and low-key scene, great if all you want to do is read or get some work done.

I come to this book store all the time, Im in the store buying a book every other week. I have returned books without a receipt, but I went in today and tried to return a book and they turned me away. Without a receipt, they wouldnt take the book back. The lady didnt even ask if I was a member and try to look for the purchase that way, she just said there was nothing she could do. I called the Barnes and Noble by southpoint and said they could do the return for me. The least they could do, is be consistent.

A large, diversified book store combined with a Starbucks franchise. If you have a Nook ebook reader you can often, but not always, read ebooks in store free for 1 hour per day each. They have rather limited hours, and are seemingly hostile to students, offering no electrical outlets for laptops. Connecting to their low-quality Wi-Fi is a hassle, when possible.

Do NOT buy anything from their online store! It is deceitful and they use third party sellers who send books through shady mail services (DHL) with no tracking number. They are probably located in China or something... I thought I was getting ahead by ordering my Christmas presents 2.5 weeks before Christmas. Looks like it wont be here till the new year.

This place contributes a lot for the community as a place for reading books and studying on your work with a cup of coffee, if you want. I hope this store would last, which has not been the case for other smaller book stores.

The prices are so high compared to Amazon or other places so its hard to justify purchasing things from here. I suppose if you need something immediately that cant be found at Wal Mart or Target. Nice atmosphere though.

Fairly standard B&N: Fastest way to find anything is to ask at the help desk and they often have items out of stock. Nice childrens area and CD/DVD selection and they have board games you cant find anywhere else!

Mean and nasty old lady who looks and acts like a witch. Yes, I saw the last quarter of the banana that boy was told not to consume on the property. What a joke. They are so trashy here!!!!!

Great bookstore! There is a coffee shop in the store that serves Starbucks coffee and drinks, and they have a huge selection of books. The kids section is larger than most other bookstores!

Ive been here multiple times and the employees are always very helpful, kind, and quick. I have never seen anyone try to take a banana into the store. I also got a good coffee there.

Bookstores are my favorite. Their selection is still good for a small Barnes and Noble. I just wish it were closer to where people lived so I could stop by more often for books...

the staff is selective with who they are friendly towards. some customers they give the gold standard to whereas others are treated as if they arent worthy of their time.

Great selection of books to browse and purchase. Close to home but the only downside is that they have benches instead of proper chairs to sit in for browsing.

Such a great place to buy a book, enjoy the Starbucks café, and fast, free Internet access. Its the one thing Amazon cannot duplicate. Enjoy!

Waited 45 minutes for a black coffee. They staffed one person in their cafe on a Sunday afternoon -- a busy time for cafes. Wont return.

Not the best cafe, but the best meeting center. A few baristas try their best and its appreciated. Management- not so much

Perfectly decent Barnes and Noble, but I recommend Flyleaf in Chapel Hill instead, if youre an afficianafo of book stores.

Love Barnes and Noble. Friendly helpful people at this one, especially the girl who helped me find a childrens book.
