We postponed our grocery shopping at least a week so that we could come here on Opening Day and rack up on a little bit of everything. We were greeted outside the store, given a buggy once we walked in and then greeted by the Store Manager who shook our hands. First thoughts, what a beautiful interior, well done and well laid out. My fiancé went through the produce while I went and had a sub made. Was hoping for breakfast options but unfortunately they didnt have any. Had a sub made none the less and it was great. Every store employee we passed asked how we were doing and if we needed any help. I understand its opening day but I could tell it was sincere. We were very pleased with the prices, especially some of the discounts when buying in bulk. We felt that we came away with just as much if not more than the other local stores we had frequented before. At checkout we were offered assistance unloading our overstuffed buggy which was a nice gesture and certainly something we hadnt experienced at other local stores. One thing I would like to see is the implementation of mobile payments (Apple Pay, Android Pay). It would speed up the payment process drastically and also help Publix lead the way in the safest form of payment processing there is. Lowes Foods is the only local store that currently has Apple Pay. We had a young man offer to push our buggy out for us who was very friendly. Come to find out it was his first experience with Publix as well and is currently attending ASU while working at Publix. He pushed it all the way to our vehicle at the end of the parking lot and thanked us for shopping at Publix and gave us a coupon for our next visit. We look forward to being regulars at the new Publix in Boone, NC. Thank you for a great experience despite the opening day crowds.

I am thrilled that Publix finally came to Boone. Publix is known for their quality, customer service, and cleanliness. I went there on Opening Day and was not disappointed. I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed help multiple times throughout the store. At the meat section I picked up a prime rib that was a little too big…no problem one of the meat employees took it away and had it cut to size for me. At the checkout the lines flowed smoothly. Another employee called me over to an open register and she put my items on the conveyor belt. I realized I forgot one item and the cashier called someone else and within 1 minute they brought it to me. After my groceries were bagged I was asked if I needed help to my car. On top of that I saved quite a bit of money from their BOGO and also on their meat deals…and no need for a card at Publix:) I went back today and bought the biggest Prime Rib roast they had and had them cut the whole thing into steaks. I also picked up another gas card for 20% off. You cant beat that. Publix is now my #1 local grocery store. Thank you Publix. You should blow your competition away. Good luck.

A good store, in my book. I visited this market today, and, having been to several other Publix locations, I can say that the newly opened Boone branch is right up there with the rest of em. This store offers the same, quality shopping experience Ive come to associate with the franchise: good service, a comfortable floorplan, a pleasing stock of products, including an above-average selection of organics and the like. Also, this particular store features a full-fledged supplement section, in the vein of Whole Foods, rather than a simple "pharmacy" with only cheap, questionable vitamins. Personally, I had no problems during my time there, and would gladly return. A word of thanks to everyone at this store, for helping provide for me. Keep up the good work :-)

Was visiting blowing rock for the Summer and decided to check out my favorite grocery store as it was rather new to the area. Store had barely anyone in it (customer wise) and yet no one could be found to help or even say hello. Management has to be blamed. Probably the most unhelpful Publix Ive ever been to (being from Atlanta). I really hope Publix is choosing their management based on merit and actual skill rather than the quick and easy option that appear to be in place at this facility. The facility has newer equipment than most though, if thats some sort of consolation. Ill be continuing to use Ingles over Publix in the area it appears.

I wanted some special cut Ribeye from the meat department and both Christian and David were very nice and helped me solve my problem and answered all my questions. Usually, as customers, when we ask for special things there always seems to be just a hint if not full on bad attitude from workers at other places. NOT the case here, they were very kind and accommodating!!! THANK YOU so much gentlemen! Also... FREE SAMPLES EVERYWHERE!!!! Overall a great experience!

Horrible service! Literally saw the store manager JOEL WISE chewing tobacco in the deli! My kids are supposed to eat there.. How could some one on top of the management team there be held to such low standards. I used to love Publix as a former Floridian, but this one is absolutely the worst managed to date.

When I asked where several items were located, the stockmen and a cashier told me exactly where to go. Spotlessly clean. Only downside, not enough registers open other than self checkout, which I do not care to use. (When did I apply for a cashiers position at Publix?)

Nice facility, bagged our own groceries as there was nobody there to help cashier ? parking lot was full of buggies with manager type employee standing at corner of building on his phone ignoring the need... needs a little employee supervision action !

Great store, great location and very professional and friendly!!! Top notch compared to other grocery stores! Only problem I have is they close at 10 which I think is a little early but publixs has my business from now on!!!

Everywhere we turned, there were people greeting us cheerfully and asking us if we needed help. I shop at Publix all the time but this was definitely the best Publix as far as selection and customer service.
