I was looking for a wine my wife and I had at restaurant that was excellent and just could not find it nor receive much help locating it when I ran across a facebook posting that Table Wine had a tasting with this wine previously. After talking with Josh he said he would check availability and get back with me next day which he did promptly as promised. After discussing availability we arrived at deal on 2 cases of wine which a friend of mine would pick up for me in a week or 2 as they were traveling to Asheville and we live in Myrtle Beach. We discussed shipping and he advised against because it was July (thank you Josh!) Anyway our friend had car trouble couldnt get there and it would be September before we could get up there my concern being could/would he be able to keep this for us in storage that long. I called Josh back and he assured me that it would not be a problem. These guys know there stuff and do what they say they are going to do which is a great pleasure. Thank you so much for your time , effort, knowledge and doing as advertised! Wine was Southern Belle by the way.

For those people who have everything, or think they have everything, look no further then TABLE WINE on Hendersonville Road. Table Wine is a small and unassuming store but trust me on this, well stocked with some of the best wines on this planet at very reasonable prices. The big difference in this store comes in the forms of Josh, his wife Lynn and on the weekend Paris who provide knowledgeable but more importantly, low key attentive service. In addition, the" Grape Nuts" related events most certainly will provide participants with not only exposure to some great wines but invaluable knowledge based on many years of experience. As a wine collector and "Grape Nut", I can assure you that your visit to Table Wine will be informative, entertaining and you will experience a lasting positive impression. Table Wine has been my go-to wine store since moving to Asheville 4 years ago. I was initially impressed with the owners knowledge of wine and his ability to secure a requested bottle in only a day. But great customer service and product knowledge are just the beginning of what makes a great wine store. The wines you find here are not the "norm" that you find at typical retail outlets. Prices range from the lower end (I call them Wednesday night wines) to the more "glamorous" wines for that special occasion. The owner, Josh, and his well-educated staff go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. I have come to think of them as friends. The Friday night/Saturday afternoon wine tastings are a great way to try new wines and meet other great people who enjoy wine.

Table Wine is a wine shop where I can go and ask any question, however basic, and never be made to feel uncomfortable or stupid. The owner, Josh, does a wonderful job of creating a community atmosphere through wine tastings where you can meet people from all over Asheville and see them on a regular basis while tasting hand-picked wines. The community and camaraderie created by Table Wine is what sets this wine shop apart from all others Ive been to. Josh also takes care to choose small, family-run wineries and has many organic and sustainable wines as well. Oh, and incidentally his wife, Lynn, is an amazing massage therapist. Wine and massage -- there is no better recipe for complete relaxation! :-)

Table Wine is the perfect wine shop, the place we hoped to find in Asheville after moving here from the Washington, DC area. Josh, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable about wines from all areas. He tastes every wine before he brings it into the store, so that he is able to recommend wines based on a customer’s specific needs and palate. He specializes in highly rated wines at affordable prices. Josh is very good at tracking down wines for us that we have read reviews on and want to order. We highly recommend shopping at Table Wine…there’s no need to go anywhere else!

He is a great source of wine information and he likes to share his knowledge. He offers great wines, mostly from smaller producers and at all price points. I was raised in the vineyards in California, and Josh has increased my knowledge of and appreciation for wines from all over the world. He learns what I like and remembers it. He has helped me stock my cellar with wines I like.

Outstandingly professional and knowledgeable. Regular Friday/Saturday tastings and events. "Everyday" bottles of much higher quality/value than comparable grocery store options. Bottles for finer tastes and special occasions are tailored to the individual; no guesswork. I live about an hour away, yet try not to buy wines anywhere else. The difference is well worth it.

Great wine shop! Josh is extremely knowledgable and loves to talk about wine. He takes the time to learn what you like and then makes recommendations. He has been spot on every time. Once Josh knows what you like, he recommends wines that are outside your comfort zone, expanding the customers wine horizons.
