We just started going to Vaso De Vino on a fluke. I had no idea what a close out wine shop was, but I do know. The guys at Vaso De Vino are approachable, knowledgeable and have a very good and completely different selection than your standard wine shop (and at closeout prices!) If you like good wine and have time for tasting it, enjoy learning about new wines you wouldnt have known about before, well then Vaso De Vino is for you. Be open to listening and learning and talking. If you know what you like and just want to run in and get it, well you can do that too but the experience just wont be the same.

I went here today on August 15,2017. No one else was in this wine store but me. I wanted to redeem a $10.00 newcomer certificate. The guy in the store looked at me like I was a freak or weird person, as I asked for a bottle of wine under $10.00 as I didnt want to pay extra. He pointed one out, and I took it for the free certificate. Heres a drink.....to strange encounters.

Excellent wine selection + price for a non "warehouse" type of wine store. People Ive talked to there seems to know there wine and made good recommendations. Glad to find this after moving to Asheville, want to eventually try some of their events

We walked in and apparently didnt look like the wine buying types. Received no attention whatsoever. There are too many other good wine shops, such as our favorite the Wine Emporium, to put up with that.

Not the biggest wine selection, but what they do have is wonderful. I expected to see more wines from other countries, but it was mostly Californian. Small craft beer section as well.
