The staff were completely rude and seemed uninformed about the products they were selling. I was completely disappointed with their customer service. I asked the woman a simple question: "Where does the organic cotton come from?" The lady seemed taken off guard and stumbled with her response for a few seconds until I finally got a response: "India." I then proceeded to ask her about the certification process with organic cotton in India. She told me it was "complicated," and that I needed to "look it up myself." I was shocked at her response and how unwilling she was to help me out. As a customer and soon to be father, it is my right to know where they get their cotton and how it is handled, especially if my daughter is to interact with this material. After that, the lady refused to answer any of my questions and proceeded to call me arrogant and told me to leave. There was another worker in the store that chimed in and started to brag about how much they "know about the products they sell," yet she wasnt able to answer my question either. They both literally laughed at me and told me to leave or they would call the police. As a vendor, it is your duty to be fully informed on the products you sell. This included knowing about the materials they are made out of, where they came from, and how they were handled in the process, especially when you put the label "organic" on it. The very fact that I ask questions like this doesnt make me "arrogant," it just means Im inquisitive and would like to be informed on the products I buy. I really want to support local businesses around the area, but with customer service like this and the mile high prices, I would honestly be better off buying online. This place is comical at best.

I always love visiting this store! Its absolutely gorgeous and draws you in with the fabulous window displays. It has an abundance of local and organic things - some of my fav brands like Zebi Organics, Silliskin mugs, green toys etc. I first started regularly going there because I attended a Music Together class in their back room with my son - it was always fun looking through before or after the class and always tempted me to buy things. They have a good range of homeward items too as well as mattresses and pillows. The ladies there are always friendly and helpful too. I recommend this store highly! One of my fav places to visit in all of Asheville!

The staff here is amazing. Since I was in the market for an organic mattress, (which are beautiful, pricey, and will last for many years), I visited at least 3 times, spending at least an hour each time testing out their mattresses, asking a gazillion questions, asking them to rearrange the padding so I could try different options. They were unbelievably patient with me, incredibly helpful, and although supportive, never pushy. I have so much respect for them, and my mattress has changed my world! Love it and love them too.

Beautiful selection of items and the staff was very helpful. I had lots of questions about cloth diapers and I left feeling much more informed.
