Been coming here since the first day it opened. Staff always helpful if not always competent. Prices are typically highish but what can you do. You have to pay to actually experience a real bookstore I guess. I love that you can sit and read without anyone hassling you. The kids section is also great. I love the fact that they have a kids story time session daily. The bathrooms are 80% always clean which is an accomplishment for this area. Not thrilled about their food section as its usually staffed by untrained wannabe hipster nimrods. I grew up in this store. I survived two marriages in this store. Now my little girl can enjoy this store too.

I called this store, in advance to find out if they have the Nook Glowlight in stock (not the Glowlight Plus). A girl told me that they have it in stock. When I went there, guess what? It was not in stock. They wasted my time. They are also always very rude and incompetent. I already had a negative experience in this store. I dont know why I went there again. Anyhow this is it. As far as I am concerned, this store should close.

A lesser B&N. My fiance and I go to study at book stores regularly. During todays session at the Yonkers Barnes & Nobles, there were people blasting music and videos on their phones. We tolerated that for a while but then left after two roaches ran past our feet while sitting in the Cafe section. The staff is friendly but seems to have no mechanism to keep other customers from behaving poorly.

My favorite bookstore. There is a nice Starbucks inside where you can read books/magazines while sipping your latte. Im not sure about wifi, but if youre registered with Optimum, you can use their wifi while in Starbucks. As another person said: there is just one outlet. So, do not expect to sit with your laptop for hours in there.

Why would you idiots that built this Barnes and noble put only one outlet in the Starbucks area? Obviously people are going to come here to get their work done, which sometimes will include a computer! Why would you only put ONE outlet in the space??????????? Ridiculous.

A nice sized store that is often kept in order. Never changes the layout so you can easily go to the section you need to go to, year after year without having to worry where they moved the style of books youre looking for to. Helpful staff. Also has a Starbucks inside.

ordered a cappuccino at the Starbucks snack bar. A total disgrace. The person making the cappuccino had to steam the milk 3 times to get it hot. They should teach there help how to use the machinery. Totally taken back at the improper training of the employees,

Barnes and Noble is a perfectly fine chain book store, and this is as standard a Barnes and Noble as youll find anywhere. Though if you go here even a couple times a year, it might be worth it to pay for their membership card, which nets you a 10% discount.

Most Barnes and Nobles are the same really so there isnt much to say in terms of selection. I like this one because it isnt as crowded as the ones in Manhattan and you can get there by the beeline 20. It takes about an 1.5 hours from the Bronx however.

This is a great store for all that its pretty small! Good sight lines, excellent selcetion and helpful staff. They took out half the places to sit but replaced the nooks with more books so its still 5 stars for me.

Who doesnt love a bookstore? In an age where everything is becoming digital, Barnes & Noble is a real treat. Great customer service, free gift wrapping, and a Starbucks cafe. Who could ask for more?
