Ive been on the fence about getting a tattoo for years. I had a basic design in mind and finally brought it to Lark after them being recommended to me by several of my friends. I worked with Jay and I couldnt be happier with the results. He took my idea to a whole other level and made the entire experience a great one. Its now 3 days later and there has been nothing you usually read about after getting a tattoo. No pain, peeling or scabbing. Its as if the design was drawn with a pen and not a tattoo gun. Ill recommend Jay to anyone who is getting or thinking about getting a tattoo. The entire staff at Lark are also great. From my first visit to the store to the follow up phone call, everyone has been helpful and friendly. They run an immaculate shop and while the work was getting done, everyone was busy doing some sort of work, but still taking time to talk and interact with customers. It really felt like a group of friends hanging out. Its true you get what you pay for and Lark is worth every penny.

Piercer has frightening anger issues and needs to fine-tune his customer service skills or else he will lose potential clients. Something was awry when he gave me an attitude when I asked questions regarding different earrings, their prices and after care. Questions that didnt and shouldnt have warranted or garnered such a terrorizing response. Piercers anger was getting worse as we proceeded to the room when no one was around. His screaming and use of profanity displayed a lack of professionalism & decency and was so alarming that I paralyzed in absolute fear and even fear as I write this review. But I will not let fear dictate my life. Not only do I feel incredibly sad for having a traumatic experience, but I feel sad for this individual. Not sure whats going on in his personal life but he shouldnt take it out on customers or maybe he shouldnt do this for a living. A Piercer should quell your fears; not create them to the point of utter terror & trauma.

I had my last tattoo done at Lark Tattoo and I love it. The whole experience was great and smooth. The shop is clean, well designed and greatly structured. Everyone is very nice, helpful and seems really sincere. I’ve got my tattoo from Joe Friedman. I came with an idea that I though was great, but Joe explained that this is not going to work and helped me to come up with an alternative that turned into a great piece. I really appreciated this honesty that definitely builds trust between an artist and a client. Joe is a great artist, who enjoys every bit of his work. He has a happy, funny, easy going personality that makes the whole experience even better. If I weren’t moving out of state, I would definitely come to Lark Tattoo for more art.

Let me start off by saying Joe F is one of the coolest people I know. Not just tattoo artists, but just an overall good guy. The line work of my script tattoo is impeccable, and he did it so quickly, the pain was a non-issue. This was my first tattoo, and it definitely wont be my last. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is super friendly, the shop is very very clean, and the shop set up leaves little to be desired. The price is very fair, and the workmanship is second to none. They are the best of Long Island for good reason. 5/5 would recommend without hesitation

I must admit I have a few pieces that I had done at some other places and I cant believe how good Bruce is at his profession. I felt like I was in a studio instead of a parlor. The place is so clean and the artists are truely artists. The owner must really care about his craft as they all work together in a great atmosphere. I would definetely return and make an appointment. When it is your time to get work done you feel like you are the only person and get the best attention.

My mom and I have been going to Lark for our tattoos the past couple years and we always love going. We always feel very welcome there and everyone that works there is very kind. There are incredible artists at Lark, I would highly recommend Joe Friedman to anybody with a ridiculously awesome tattoo design/idea , hes the best. I cant wait for my next tattoo idea to strike!

Amazing place!! I love the staff, very professional and down to earth! Took my sister here for her first tattoo and she is hooked. Got a tattoo done with my wife last month and they came out amazing! Price in my opinion is great. I highly recommend that you give them a shot and get work done! Shout out to Neil and Pee Wee!!! They ROCK!!

Lark tattoo is bar far the best tattoo parlor I have ever been too. Very friendly staff, immaculately clean, and a great atmosphere in general. Joe F did my cover up, and it came out better than I couldve imagined. Hes an incredible artist and an awesome guy. Could not have asked for a better experience.

My artist was Peewee. An all around great experience. He was very professional in every way. He helped me with anything I needed. I got a koi fish on my ribcage, I couldnt be happier with the outcome. I have another appointment in a few weeks to get my other side done. Thanks Peewee!

I have been going to Bruce Kaplan at Lark Tattoo in Westbury for several years. I recently had my whole arm done into a sleeve. Ive been getting so many compliments on the beautiful art work, color and detail. I highly recommend Lark.

Very professional! Pricing is very fair for the the work they do! They have an artist for any style tattoo you want. Friendly staff and the shop is clean! Ive gotten a few tattoos here and always had a positive experience!

Went for a nose piercing. I had my nose pierced twice before at other businesses. Staff was knowledgeable. I received better after care instructions here which is important! Will definitely recommend for any piercings.

Best option for a place to get tattooed on Long Island. The artists at this shop cover pretty much any tattoo style you like and do a very good job. The staff is very nice and the shop is very clean and nice to be in.
