I would not recommend this place. I got something small done there on my wrist about 2 years ago, not only did it not get done by the owner, but, by who I assume, was an apprentice and I should have said no then. It was a small tattoo and I normally know they dont run cheap but I paid $180 for something that took less than an hour to do and was only black ink and no shading. Rick questioned the way I wanted my tattoo since I wanted it facing me and said it would look stupid. Both owners were pretty rude. My husband was with me at the time and he wasnt feeling well and had some bad allergies going on and hadnt slept in over 24 hours - the owner comes in when the tattoo is done and tells me never to bring someone who is high into his shop again, because he knows what high people look like; which was further from the truth. Now the icing on the cake, I have plenty of tattoos and know how to care for them. This one healed weird and when it did heal, it wasnt even fully lined and I had to have another artist (who is now my main artist) re-do it. My artist now is booked for usually 3 months for appointments. This place takes walk-ins and when I went, didnt even look busy, that should be a warning right there. Be careful who does your tattoos.

Id like to start off by saying Im not a Body Graffiti employee nor am I an ex-con (a previous negative review suggested those would be the only types of people to write a good review). I also have about 15 tattoos that I got done at different places all over the east coast. Rick is by far the best artist Ive been to. Hes not pushy, let me make my own final decision on my tattoo after he printed out 3 different designs. He was very respectful and gave me a shirt that was cut down the back that way Id still be covered up during the tattoo. He was very focused on his work and only made small talk if I initiated a conversation. The shop is well kept and hes definitely a professional in all aspects of the word. Be aware of the healing/care taking process of your tattoo (as you would with any tattoo from any artist) and there shouldnt be any issues. I would absolutely recommend Ricks shop to anyone considering getting a tattoo.

After getting my tattoo done here I noticed problems immediately. The ink from the outline was spreading and getting blurry. It took almost 2 months to heal and looked aweful. It was like no other tattoo Id ever gotten before. Some friends suggested Skin Deep Ink to fix it. They did a great job giving me what I originally wanted. While there I recognized dozens of Body Grafittis tattoos from their portfolio that had to fixed or covered up all together. Do your research and ask friends with tattoos. Theyll tell the truth.

DO NOT GO HERE! If there are ANY positive reviews here, they come from the artists themselves or former prison inmates who think Body Grafitti did a better job than their cellmate with a rusty safety pin and some india ink. I got a tattoo here that the guy f-ed up on... likely because the guy was hung over (or maybe even still drunk) and using defective equipment that kept shorting out. I should have run out, but I was nervous and as stupid as you are if you EVER even CONSIDER going here. STAY AWAY!

I have found Rick @ Body Grafitti Tattoo to be one of the finest tattoo artist Ive ever meet. Not only is his workmanship second to none, but his shop is state of the art and probably cleaner and more sterial then most hosptial and doctor offices Ive been in. They get 5 stars from me. Very profeesional additude! My opion is, if youre looking for a great looking tattoo done with years of experience check these guys out first! They know whats the business is all about.

I love this place, Not only friendly but very professional. Rick has done all of my tattoos and I plan on going back for a couple more. I cant imagine going anywhere else for them! Robbin is such a HUGE help and I cant thank her enough for all her advice.

Absolutely horrendous. I got the simplest tattoo imaginable and it is completely faded, shakey and jacked up. It was a faded out mess 1 month after getting it. Ashamed of it and getting it redone shortly. Dont go here, your body will thank you.
