Although this store is on the larger side and is supposedly open 24 hours, it is not an amazing option for fresh items. I would give the produce section a solid F-. Most items like lettuce, kale, other leafy vegetables, and some of the fruit are rotting on the shelves or are turning into a soft green mush due to over spraying of water and age. Even the prepackaged lettuce is old and rotting in the bag. I had to throw out almost an entire bag of Dole Romaine lettuce due to being so soft and mushy. The Deli section is a whole other issue in itself. Ive never seen a number system available, so its kind of a free for all when ordering if there is a lot of people. The Deli workers themselves are the most unhappy miserable bunch I have ever seen! If you dont want to work in a Deli then dont work there! Sorry to bother you if Id like to make a sandwich at my house. The bakery section is average, but I only bought fresh bread from them once. It wasnt great. The meat section is average as well but there does seem to be alot of options for different cuts of meat. This store is good for certain things but I stopped buying produce here for sure. This is a bigger store than the one in Hewlett but not as big as the King Killen in Rockville Centre. The store itself is neat and clean. There are restrooms specifically for the public. They have a larger variety of products than the Hewlett store. There is one product in particular that I can only find in the Merrick Road store: Dole mild celery hearts. I love celery but cannot eat bitter celery . These mild flavor celery hearts are great! Unfortunately they do not have other products that like on a consistent basis. Sometimes they are there and sometimes not. It is frustrating when the different supermarkets dont carry the same products. As a result I have to make 2 or 3 trips to get all the products I want in any given week.

I love King Kullen and especially this one in Valley Stream. They have a good selection of produce and the deli is really good. They also have the bathroom located in the front of the store so that you dont have to go in the back room to get to it. This King Kullen is always clean and the employees are nice and helpful, so I definitely recommend you come here.

Yes they are 24hrs just not everyday. Sunday and Monday they close around 12. They lock the entrance during late hours so you have to use the exit to get in. If its your first time going you might think they are closed. Other the. That its s great store. Its always clean and the produce are always fresh.

Coming here after years of going to other nearby places to me reminded me of enjoying this store and my shopping experience. The isles are clean everything is organized the staff is nice, courteous and as a shopper you feel appreciated and lastly the prices are comparable to Stop & Shop and Shoprite

I enjoyed shopping at your king Killen supermarket n i will be returning again, the store itself was clean n not crowed the meats were fresh n easy asses n so was the rest of the items in the store. The cashiers were very pleasant also n i will be shopping their more often.

Has a variety of produce, always seems to have enough representatives at the register...however alot of items are more expensive than other groceries (ie Key Food). Instead of paying $70-$80 for groceries you will probably end up paying over $100.

Cashier named Debra is not fit to be dealing with the public. nasty attitude and does not look like she really wants to work, She was miserable and talked to me as If I was in the streets. I had such a terrible experience

Good parking, convenient. Fresh produce and meat, although on the pricier side. Bathroom was horrendous, poop in puddle on floor (man came out of womens room as we walked in), no toilet paper, no soap. Gross!
