This and the Foodtown down Peninsula are the two closest grocery stores to my place, but I usually go here since the aisles are indeed DECENTLY wide and the atmosphere is a bit more relaxed. Prices are hit or miss, and the deli section has some nice treats. One thing both this KK and the nearby Foodtown share are abysmally frustrating parking lots, and Im not sure what suggestion to give. When a shopping cart is blowing into traffic due to a gust of wind, I think you know what type of employees to hire. Edit: Theres a cool dude now who lassos up the carts. Ive seen people give him s**t for not lining them up perfectly in front of the store, which makes them poopchute-holes. The drivers in the parking lot are still the worst drivers ever, but that isnt the Kings fault. They also double coupons, so yeah. Good times.

This store is the closest to me. Its a smaller store than its sisters and that shows in the limited variety they carry. I like to shop here because it is convenient but find myself constantly frustrated due to the stores failure to have items that I want. They are constantly out of things or just dont carry them. A lot of times I will go to the King Killen on Merrick Road in Valley Stream for that reason.

I have been consistently getting fresh cuts of meat here. The butcher is very helpful, and is willing to custom cut if I am looking for something a little different. I also think the store has good customer service, and the prices on baby formula are better than Stop & Shop. I highly recommend King Kullen.

They have great meats and are very nice. Their produce aisles are not arranged in a way that makes sense. Why is the garlic at the end next to the bananas? Id never use them together! I spent 15 minutes looking for the garlic, thinking it would be by the onions, nope, good thing I also needed bananas.

Fresh vegetables, fresh flowers and plants catch your eye quickly and these things are right at the entrance, you cant miss them. Besides ready ingredients to just put them in the pot and have a guilt free homemade meal shouldnt be so hard to prepare. Come check it out.

Its not as big as the other super markets but its clean, the produce and the meat are fresh. Due to its size, I find it difficult to purchase certain specialty items buts it my go to place when i need to pick up stuff in a pinch.

It always smells like bacon and is over priced. Some may love the everlasting smell of bacon, but when Im trying to buy strawberries and smell them to see if theyre ripe, I dont want bacon permeating my senses.

Handy for grabbing something quick if you live locally. If not on sale prices are high. Store is packed but somewhat small so variety of some items is lacking. Checking out almost always takes a long time.

Love this supermarket i went there at 11 oclock PDM just to see if I can find some food for my fishes and sure enough they had it always open late plenty of parking. Food is always fresh

It is mediocre compared to the King Kullen in Valley. The company overall treats their customers like turds. The union steals your money.
