Terrible from beginning to end. To start things out, on approach to the store I looked through the door and made EYE CONTACT with the lady that is supposed to open the door. She stared at me and then looked away. Didnt even open the door. I thought to myself "Okay, maybe she just had a rough day or just.. forgot?" I know its not that big a deal but Verizon is the only store that I know to open doors for their customers in this area. I was disappointed. However, it gets worse. While I was checking in she never greeted us or anything and started our interaction off with a curt "whats your name?" Displeasing to say the least. And GET THIS. After politely saying "Pardon me but how long will the wait be?" she said "A few minutes" then glared at us and turned and walked away. Talk about rude. And to top things off after waiting for about 15 minutes she comes over and says "Whats the issue?" and we say we are having difficulties with this lifeproof case that we have. Without preamble she says "Lifeproof cases are over there" in the meanest tone you can think of. She ends that statement with a crude point of her lengthy finger. Anyways, upon exiting the store she was back by the door and as we passed her we smiled pleasantly at her but she gave us an icy-rude glare. No smile. No "Have a nice night" nothing. In the end, if you have difficulties with an apple product do NOT take it to Verizon even if they are your carrier. Take your apple product straight to the Apple store in Destiny USA. They will help you out and you may even get a free replacement like I did. Verizon needs to work on their customer service to say the least. EDIT: I forget her name but I do recall it beginning with a T. She is a semi-short lady with blonde hair. Youll recognize her because she wont hold the door and is incredibly rude.

Helpful employees, on one of the nations largest carriers. This location is a great representation of the company. If you can always go to the corporate run stores like these over the "authorized retailer" locations. The corporate sites are run much more consistently than the retailers and less likely to say anything to make a sale. The authorized retailers also sometimes add in additional hidden fees. Make no mistake you should do your research before you buy any thing and cell phones are no different. Come in knowing what is available and what the specials are. The free no name phone is rarely (of ever) the smartest buy regardless of what the sales people are directed to all that week. That said this location in my experience has been much less likely to sell you on a subpar device. Most of them really know their stuff! If you are really torn about what to get ask them what they use for both their personal and business phones and why. Good luck! These guys are a step in the right direction to a good experience so you are halfway there just by going here!

I tried to upgrade my broken cell phone at this store; However, this was a near impossible task. They told me that my plan was not available to upgrade my phone at this time, and that I would have to buy the phone at the list price ($500.00 for the LG Voyager). They told me to sign up for a Verizon acount on the computer in their store, but did not assist me in doing this. I set the account after a half an hour mssing around, but this didnt really help me to determine if I could upgrade the phone for the contract price. I even wanted to upgrade to the premium service package, but the manager wasnt even interested in helping. I called the 1-800 verizon customer help desk and they were easily able to answer all of our questions, and we found that we were able to upgrade the phone for the contract pricing without a problem. It wasnt even that dificult and could all be done online without a sales representitive.

I was very disappointed with service at Verizon Wireless on-site service in DeWitt. Talk about treating you like a number. A couple of different people I dealt with about my defective phone were short, barely listened and pushed through an assembly line type experience. I will say that they DID replace my phone with a "refurbished" one, but they proudly declared, "We were able to transfer all your contacts". The guy in front of me had not been so lucky. Wow, what would would it be like to have actual conversation or friendly service and have someone ask - "Hey before we work on this phone, do you have all your important numbers written down? Sometimes providing technical service interferes with the address book..." Very different experience than customer service reps on phone who are mostly helpful and knowledgable.

This store is awful. My husband and I went in there on Sunday evening and walked around for 15-20 minutes without anyone saying hello to us. We just moved to East Syracuse from Cicero and we have NEVER had this issue at the Cicero store. It wasnt even busy--there was one couple by the tech desk and one by the sales desk. The guy behind the tech desk never even looked up to say "Ill be right with you." Four separate employees had walked past us without asking if we were being helped--NOTHING. Im in retail and have been for 11 years and Ive never done this to a customer or have ever experienced this elsewhere. Take your business to Cicero---theyll even say Hi to you!

Don’t give this store your business. I have never had a good experience there. Their sales dept is awful and rude. They treat you like a number and are a bit on the sneaky side. On several occasions they have given me wrong info or have kept info from me. On my most recent occurrence, I bought a phone that I hated. I took advantage of their “free” no hassle return. Then 2 days later when I was ready to purchase another, they told me it would be an extra $35 because I returned a phone. Buy from the verizon website. No mail-in rebates. The rebates are atomicity deducted and better service.

Long wait of 14 minutes. It took over 30 minutes to get to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exchanged. When I got home, I realized I never got $25.00 rebate. Car said I had to get from Samsung. Called Samsung and they stated Verizon was responsible for rebate. Called back to the store and CSR left for the day. Manager said Verizon was supposed to issue $ 25.00 credit but I had u til the CSR returned from days off and she would have to issue. Why do have wait. What a waste of time and money

Beware the Verizon store on Erie Blvd in Syracuse. As a practice they lie about what is in the contracts they have you sign... in the words of their manager because you people ( verizon customers) are to stupid to read it and just trust what we tell you is true. Nice customer service verizon.. your a joke

The store was busy when I went, but the staff was easily able to manage the rush courteously and effectively. Could not have been more impressed. Im not sure about the other reviews and whether or not management has changed since then, but trust me when I say that the customer service was top notch!
