THE REASON PATHMARK WENT OUT OF BUSINESS AT THIS SITE WAS THEIR HIGH PRICES. KEYFOOD CONTINUES THIS TRADITION AND WILL PROBABLY CLOSE WITHIN A YEAR. AMOUNT OF CASHIERS ON WEEKDAYS ARE MINIMAL, TWO OR THREE, YET THERE ARE NO LINES WHICH REFLECTS ON THE STORES PRICES. THEIR SHOP FROM HOME IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, IN ORDER TO PLACE AN ORDER YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO MAKE A PHYSICAL CALL AND GIVE THEM ITEM FOR ITEM AS OPPOSED TO SHOPERITE WHICH HAS A WEBSITE TO HANDLE SHOP AT HOME. ITS OUTRAGEOUS THAT KEYFOOD HAS NEVER HEARD OF TECHNOLOGY.

Google doesnt let me give 0 stars. Nasty staff, terrible, & antiquated is the best way to explain this Keyfood. Cashiers are nasty, systems are slow & out of date. Always an issue when I go in at 8:30am to buy a milk. Rarely more than 1 register open. Only good thing is the gallon of milk costs $2.99 but Ill honestly be happy to pay more to avoid this store. You would think this store would be brand new everything when it took over for Pathmark. Store is also dark and empty most times.

Shelves are rarely full. They have confused all patrons by reorganizing the store. If you take bottles in for a refund, were they took the 5 cents, please make sure you only bring in $14 they will not give you the rest of the money. Its your money. I had to send my daight over to get the rest of my refund.! Workers are helpful and courteous.

The store is ok the prices are about the same as any other supermarket. BUT I WILL SAY ONE THING IS WATCH OUT FOR THE SECURITY GUY IN THE STORE. HE IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK AND VERY RUDE. THE PAST MONTH OR SO HE BEEN PISSING ME OFF BY FOLLOWING ME AROUND THE STORE AND MAKING ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

The store is generally quiet and not packed with customers so the lines are not long and its a nice relaxing shopping experience. They have an awesome beer selection on the back wall but the fruits/veggies section needs loving. Some of the fruit is rarely "super fresh".

Bought some burgers there and the food was expired, out dated . They exchanged it but didnt care to remove the rest of the remaining expired food he had left over .I guess they didnt care for the safety of the public. Very rude . Will never go back .

The owner fired unionized workers to hire workers at lesser wages and worse benefits. Staten Island has many union brothers and sisters and this type of corporate greed leaves a bad taste in our mouths. WE will not be shopping here any longer.

Horrible! If youre going to change ownership at least clean it up and fix up the store, youre overpriced and you have outdated mechanics and no self serve! I go to Trader Joes and stop n shop, cleaner nicer and different class of people!
