Never again, worst experience ever. Ive Been going to Whole Foods in another area for 3 years and this experience was horrific. The employees are awful- we went there for the first time and the butcher walked away when we went to order meat. He stared at us and we said hello excuse me can you help us? He walked over completely annoyed and grabbed our meat. We then asked him if we could have fish and hes like "nah I cant cut this" with a completely rude attitude. We were shocked that no one wanted to help us and everyone was annoyed. Then we went to the cheese area and the girl didnt say a word. Every other Whole Foods they ask if you need help or how they can help you, NOT HERE. Then her and two other employees got into a huge fight about training and whether or not she should refrigerate the cheese ?? What the hell- of course you should. Here I am spending $6 on a tiny block of cheese and your unsure if you should put it in the refrigerator? Then you proceed to fight with two other employees right in front of us, unacceptable and not the Whole Foods way. We will never ever return to this Whole Foods again. The employees are unprofessional and poorly trained. I understand putting a Whole Foods in an up and coming area helps with jobs, and I completely support job growth, but everyone needs to be trained before they start working at this location on how to treat their customers and to be approachable. I hate to say this, but go to another food store or order fresh direct, youll be much happier with their service. After spending $500 today, Ill be sure next time to go to another Whole Foods and give it to them. We will never shop at the Newark location and will be sure to tell our friends not to either.

For Newark... Its really a gem. But they dont have full carts so you can put your child in. I look all around but couldnt find it. The food bars are really great and worth the money. The meat market is ok... Not all of it is organic and no. Colby or Bison meat. The fish market is ok but awsome crab legs. I was just very disapointed that they sold farm raised fish... Which shouldnt be in a expensive store like whole foods. If wanted i wanted toxic fish... I couldve went to a regular supermarket at a cheaper price. The essential oils i would recommend to get else where like down on Halsey st at a health store... They are so expensive. But the staff was soooooo awesome, they were always trying to help.

I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT AT THIS LOCATION. I PURCHASED CUPCAKES FOR MY DAUGHTERS AND INSTEAD OF GETTING SALTED CARAMEL AS REQUESTED I WAS GIVEN PEANUT BUTTER. BOTH MY DAUGHTERS ARE ALLERGIC TO PEANUT BUTTER. MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER TASTED IT FIRST AND QUICKLY REALIZED IT WAS PEANUT BUTTER. MY HEART DROPPED AS MY OLDER DAUGHTER IS SEVERELY ALLERGIC AND WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM HAD SHE INGESTED PEANUT BUTTER. AS A PARENT WITH CHILDREN ALLERGIC TO PEANUT BUTTER I AM DEEPLY DISTURBED WHOLE FOODS WOULD MAKE A MISTAKE WITH POSSIBLY DEATHLY CONSEQUENCES. I WAS TOLD A MANAGER WOULD RETURN MY CALL AND NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. SHOPPERS BE WARE!!!!

One of the smaller stores. It has free parking in the underground parking garage. It is attached to a beautiful renovated building and located next door to the new Prudential office building. Halsey St. behind the store is a mecca for the trendy crowd and it sits next across the st from Military Park and NJPac. The store is very busy during lunch time. The food bar stays full all day. Most of the employees are friendly. There is security onsite. There is place inside the store to eat the food you purchased from the food bar and seating also outside the store in the common area of the building.

Its a nice store but Im originally from Bergen County the Whole Foods in Paramus is so much better. The stores small too. But I guess the ppl here are happy even though the employees sre from other stores. Thats messed up there are some really good YOUNG ppl tht havent had the easiest life tht want a good opportunity. But they do stuff like this. And you wonder why this GENERATIONS Twisted to THE Core. Thts just my opinion

This is a great place to pick up lunch or do food shopping. Just like most other Whole Foods stores there is a wide range of items that are handled well and the store is neat and clean despite the volume of customers. I found the staff to be even more friendly and helpful than usual. All in all one of the best experiences. Sadly, there is not a bulk food selection. The only thing that is missing from the expected choices.

Love that is very close to me, some staff members are very kind, but 90% of the cashiers are beyond rude, they treat you with an attitude. Before it opened I would usually drive to the paramus location because people are super nice and love that they take care of their customers, and as for now I will continue traveling to wholefoods in paramus for sure.

Everything is good there, but seems there are no parking lot or I just didnt see it. Also the business hours is kinda unfair for people who works all day, I mean the store closes at 8pm and some people just getting home by then so the nearest place could be Walmart in Harrison. Could you guys be open until midnight at least?? That would be great.

Great selection of food. Some of it may be expensive, but not all. The food bar is pretty good (as long as it gets stocked), and that helps having a business lunch in the area. The option of offering local foods on the shelves help me find new offerings within Newark. The Hahnes Building is gorgeous and provides a great environment.

Well, I must say that this was my first time going to Whole Foods since their Grand opening on March 1, 2017. I was really impressed when I walked into the store. The staff and cashiers were very friendly and they greeted you with a smile; The ambience was nice. I would definitely visit Whole Foods again.

Its small with a small selection of everything.... I purchased a slab of salmon for 25 bucks there on a weekday and once I was ready to steam it it smelled and had a sticky gloss on it And they had scally fish next to fish without scales which is a no no. Ill go back but just not to the sea food section.

ALWAYS love Whole Foods! I have never had a negative experience when Ive visited any of their stores. I hope all the services stay the same in quality after the buy out. This location is clean, well stocked, organized and the associates are friendly and knowledgeable.

Smaller selection then regular size Whole Foods Market stores but quality as always. Side note: This is the first whole foods in the NYC/NJ region I have seen which bakes a pizza which looks like a pizza. Rest all of them bake this weird elongated elliptical thing.

I love whole food, but I think that by the time I get to this particular store on Sunday, some of the greens look a little dead. However, in the cook food side, they have some great foods and choices to pick and the seating area to eat is placed on a good spot.
