The guy running it is a crook. He quoted me $19.95/day for a small Budget truck rental but charged me $79.95. The contract paper was so old and the ink on it was so dull I couldnt even read it well and I must have signed it thinking it was 19.95. When I was at the counter he was fiddling with his computer and went back and forth between the computer and the two trucks parked outside. It seemed like he switched something on me and the going back and forth now seems like a distraction and I was in a big rush. Budget customer care (corporate) couldnt do anything about this. Beware!

Terrible experience. Mike Cornell, the owner has the worst customer service. I rented a stump grinder and a bolt came off the grinding wheel. Told me it was my fault and he could not fix it at noon that day, after I had already paid for the day. Then swore at me when I told him I when I didnt think it was my fault. I will never rent from this place again and recommend you dont either. I am out $250 dollars and am writing this so you dont have the same problem. Go to Casales instead in Latham and get great service.

The owner may not have the best "bedside manner". But we use him at least once a week to rent a truck for delivery purposes and his prices cant be beat and he has gone out of his way to accommodate us multiple times. As far as the tools are concerned, I have rented from him multiple times and everything i rented worked as it should and was priced fairly.
