I dont know whats going on with this store however I have been in there four times in the last three weeks and half the lights are turned off you cant see anything in the isles its actually dangerous to walk down them, you cant read the packages because its so dark , the garden department was completely bare , the store had virtually no customers in and the few that were there were all complaining about how dark it was in the store also. When I asked a employee why half the lights were off they told me that corporate told them to do it . Really? If the Home Depot is doing so poorly that it needs to turn off half the lights and in danger the well-being of their customers then I think its time to drive the extra mile up the road to the local Lowes where at least the lights are turned on

No help from sales staff no greeting . John p(sales person) looked over to me and I asked does These Fittings for the bathroom sink fit he said he really doesnt know? ? Smh. There were 8 sales people that were in the aisle at the time no help not one person came over to see how I was doing I felt abandoned in the store.a lady came down the same aisle and asked for the help in the tool Dept, she was walked halfway down the aisle and the sales lady pointed to the left and said two aisle down there should be someone there. Thst wsd it that was the best service the have done .why even have workers and help staff this not the store to go if you dont know what you need . Stay away

The customer service for calling is horrible only to wait on countless hours to be transferred to a department that you are only to be put on hold again for an endless time. The Wappingers Home Depot is the worst store ever...no wonder they call it the "Dumb Depot"...bring back the traditional hardware stores or hire experienced and knowledgeable employees but first teach them how to answer and transfer a call. Frustrating!

The store is ridiculous every time I go in half the lights are turned off you cannot see anything and when employees are asked why are the lights turned off they say corporate tells them to do this. Ive never been in a business where half the lights are turned off so you cant see the product you want to buy . I will no longer be going to a Home Depot until someone can find the light switch and turn the lights back on .

Went to get a Lamp for the living room. The items were organized neatly and in almost every aisle, you can find someone to help you out. A lot of people visit this place for home improvement and yes, this place is the perfect destination for a makeover or improvement.

They have it, but can you find it? Cause if you need their help you should bring a book to read while you wait for help. They will insist that someone will be with you as soon as they finish with another customer. That is just a standard reply. IMO

Mixed feelings. Some staff are helpful. Some not. Roll the dice when u go. Some need to be trained better. I asked an associate a question about moldings which I figured out on my own in front of him. He was clueless. Sad.

Horrible. Needed keys to be made, after not even a minute of looking, he told us he didnt have the key and then decided to answer his personal cell phone. Never going back to Home Depot.

The staff take a personal interest in their customers. Some staff have a lot of product knowledge while other staff have none. The products are basic for homeowner handyman work.
