This is the first review Ive written. We had done the top Prom dress shops, on line and trendies, even London and Paris. Not being American I was fed up of the hype, but didnt want to kill the dream. I was spending anywhere between $200 to $600, but I am a TOUGH bargain hunter. At Ferri Formal, I sighed with relief on the chaise longue,-finally someone who seems to understand the needs of our precious individual, floaty headed prom girls, while respecting the paying parents. I like vogue-type fashion, I like quality material. I hate pushy, condescending or obsequious staff. I gave the staff the run around, 3-4 visits, multiple telephone calls and emails. They were great from day 1, from the young assistant to the matriarch, prices very good. They know what suits girls and the individual look they go for- avant garde, classic,off-beat, latest trends. The "Wows" and "do you like that" were genuine. Maybe I was just lucky, but everyone in there was having a ball. You could relax, once you knew this boudoir were after customer service not turn-over profit. Customers buying function dresses were marveling at the young beauties, while I learned a little about presentation from them. Obviously they were familiar repeat customers Finally, they showed no prejudices on budget, race, age or size. I was there a long time making up my mind, posing as a hostile customer, so I saw a lot of people walk in and each were greeted with the same professional service.- Even me. My daughter got the drop-dead gorgeous look, as did her friend,( with different tastes), that she met there by chance- another satisfied repeat customer. Hopefully she will keep it clean for the 2 proms-otherwise I might be tempted to go back for a peek- the price beat the internet total without sacrificing quality!

Awful. A flower-girl dress for my wedding was purchased at this store. A beautiful $250 dress, which in my opinion is quite a pricey dress for a three year old...but it was so beautiful we went with it! We ordered this dress in January with an early April delivery date. Needless to say a week out from my wedding we have no dress...and no one from the store can provide a decent answer as to why there was such a delay. My bridesmaid who is the little girls mother tried for nearly six weeks to get a straight answer as to when the dress would arrive....to no avail. When she indicated that she was nervous about the arrival and alterations because the dress was quite expensive the owner informed her that $250 was in fact not an expensive flower girl dress. 10 days before the wedding my friend was returned her deposit and we actually purchased a lovely dress for $25 and received excellent customer service...at Burlington Coat Factory! :) But my friend continues to get phone calls since the dress came in (1 week before the wedding) to see the "lovely" dress. I guess I would just advise people that the communication when a mistake is made is awful. Either you receive no phone call, have to keep following up yourself or get a different answer from different people in the store. I purchased some accessories at another bridal store in the area and when a mistake was made the owner immediately called me to let me know about the problem and to give me options. No such effort was ever made by Ferri Formals in this situation.I just do not think this is a stress any bride needs a week before their wedding, especially when the dress is purchased so far in advance.

When I first started looking for my bridal gown, I was not exactly sure what style dress I wanted. I spent many appointments at Ferri Formals & Bridals looking for the perfect gown, and I did. Ferri Formals & Bridals has the BEST selection of dresses and accessories and the BEST staff to assist in choosing the perfect gown for your special day. The staff is always very helpful, knowledgable, and happy to be a part of your special day. Patty was such a big part in choosing dresses that I liked, and had so much patience for the countless dresses that I tried on. Not only that, but she also assisted in finding bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen tuxes for our wedding. Once I found my dream dress, Patty and Mary Lou, the shops owner, were always checking in and making sure everything was perfect. The wedding party all had a wonderful experience and a wide selection to choose from. I also purchased a gorgeous "belt" from Ferris, which I used as a headband. The best part of my experience with Ferris was that I felt like a part of their family. When I called or stopped in, they all knew me by my first name. When I went for appointments or to preserve my dress after the wedding, everyone asked about our special day, as well as for pictures. Thank you Mary Lou, Patty, and staff for making our wedding day so special, and for making me feel like the most beautiful bride!! :)

We had the pleasure of working with many outstanding vendors to put on our June 2014 wedding. Unfortunately, Ferri Formals & Bridals turned out not to be one of them. We used them for our tuxedo rentals for our wedding party and other participants in the wedding. We had a very good experience selecting the tux style and colors. This is the only reason I am not giving a one star rating. However, it went downhill from there. Multiple groomsmen had issues with providing their measurements and payment information to place their orders. When the tux orders came in, shoes were missing for at least one groomsman, shirts were missing for two groomsmen, and the shirt style was incorrect for all of the rentals. Also, they made it very difficult for out-of-town groomsmen to return their tuxes after our Saturday night wedding because they are not open on Sunday and have no alternative return procedure. The staff did not seem to comprehend how it was not possible for our out-of-town groomsmen to return their tuxes on Monday when they were flying home on Sunday. Fortunately, my now mother-in-law volunteered to return all of the rentals. Overall, I would not recommend Ferri Formals & Bridals for tux rentals.

Ferri Formals & Bridals was the first store I visited on my dress hunt last summer. I was helped by Celeste who was so charming and patient with us! My bridesmaids and I were taken around the store to browse dresses and get a feel for what I was looking for, what my budget was like, etc. We picked a few out, and Celeste picked one out for me that she was excited for me to try on. I tried that dress on first, and wouldnt you know it was my dream dress and the one I would walk down the aisle wearing a year later? It was perfect. Because I had appointments lined up with other stores, I made it a point to check out other dresses, but even my bridesmaids knew that nothing could quite compare the THE ONE. I called Ferri Formals the next day and talked to Mary Lou who was very sweet and worked with me to make sure my dream dress came true! I had my dressed tailored there which I was 100% satisfied with (it was strapless, and I was nervous it would slide down throughout the day, but it stayed put!). Everyone LOVED my dress the day of the wedding, and I cannot stop looking through pictures of it. Wish I could wear it over and over again! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment at Ferri Formals :)
