Quan Tran

The only place in Rochester that sell congealed pork blood, or pig blood curd, that I buy to make Bun Rieu. As a result, I have to drive here to buy the blood. Other than that, everything else is pretty overpriced, I tend to buy all the other stuff from Asia Market on Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road, or that West Lake place on Commerce Drive. There is a Cantonese chinese restaurant in front and grocery store in the back. I bought some expired food one time from West Lake, so do check the dates. Asian stores sometime sell you expired crap because they dont really get visited regularly by the health inspectors like Wegmans or Tops.

They have a good selection of produce and cheap prices compared to some of the other Asian stores. Produce are usually fresh on the weekends because their shipment comes on Friday nights. Its a smaller store so the aisles are a little tight.
