I visited this Wegmans with a friend for lunch on Thurs, 19 May 2016. We apparently arrived at a good time. Many of the salad and hot food items were being rotated fresh. We were able to choose our foods, get in line and pay for it rather quickly. The food selections were good though slightly on the pricey side per lb. To be serving myself and cleaning up after myself, etc, just seems I wouldnt be paying the same for my food as when I order at a resturaunt where its delivered to me and cleared away for me. But I was satisfied enough to dine here more than once. There seemed to be a varied selection of asian dishes to select from. My husband and co-workers happened to be there at same time and all ordered the Cuban Sandwich. They were pleased with their selection enough that they make it a weekly event. *Dining tables, utensils and refillable drinks as well as the restrooms were all upstairs. Conveniently there are two elevators available for those that have difficulties with stairs. If you choose tables near the railing, you can enjoy people watching as they do their vegetable/fruit shopping. Theres an area set up "kid-friendly" at the end of the table and walkway area. *This is a busy shopping area with Target across the driveway and other businesses a short distance way so making a left to leave the parking lot and return to the main road can be a challenge. *I would recommend the experience of choosing from the variety of food selections at this Wegmans food Court.

Great food, great prices, crummy check out and store navigation. Every time I shop at Wegmans I know I am getting a good product as many of their branded items are all natural (Wegmans pizza bites compared to commercial brand). The products are great, but getting to them is sometime near impossible. The produce section, I always end up dancing with other carts to get past them. Crossing the mid store aisle is like playing frogger on high speed. Finally the check out lines are plentiful, but if more than two people are in a line ahead, you end up blocking the front traffic lane which throws it all out the window for everyone else. The main entrance and exit feel backward. Most Americans drive on the right lane, but here we are expected to cross our comfort zone to enter in the left door while others exit through the right. That sometimes works. I find it worth going for all our groceries, but I always feel frustrated while there. My wife shares some of my frustration but mostly feels its just fine.

Selection, price of the house brands, and the organic/natural/vegetarian section are all awesome! We love wondering around late at night to find food gems, and picking up a couple items just to try... ie: specialty cheeses, house made bread, etc. The bread is pricey though, and a lot of foods are not double stocked.... seasonings are in baking, organic, sometimes on an end cap, and several are in the ethnic aisle. It makes it difficult to find things. The produce is lacking, and tends to turn bad quickly. The prepared food bar is pricey, and most items weve tried are pretty bland. Love this grocery store but there could definitely be some improvements.

Excellent as most Wegmans locations are. However, the real challenge of this particular wegmans is getting out. That left turn to get out of the parking lot and onto Columbia place is a real challenge when traffic gets heavy. They really need another exit to relieve the pressure. So plan your trip accordingly or take the long way around to get out. Wegmans could influence this issue since they are the anchor tenant. I do absolutely love their dining area upstairs and often go there after getting a pizza or sub from the counters just below. They really do know how to pull in customers. Food is always fresh and the bakery area is excellent as well.

Nilsas above-and-beyond customer service is a great example of how Wegmans is terrific. I had just microwaved lunch which I had bought at the store. As I was sitting down, my entree spilled. This was the latest in a round of recent bad developments for me which had me feeling sorry for myself, and I was prepared to just buy another one while being grumpy about it. Despite Nilsa having a speech impediment, she followed me and "dragged" me to the Mgr., who offered me a replacement entree at NO CHARGE, despite it being MY fault for having dropped the meal. I think Nilsa has taught me a lesson on how to properly handle lifes setbacks!

One of the best grocery stores chains that I have been to and this particular store proves this point. For perspective, I also make it a point to visit all food stores in every new town I stop in around the world. It is not just a store but an experience. Each pod, or section of the facility e.g. tea, pastries, fish; all have experts that can give you a world of information about their neighborhood within the store. No question if you can handle the crowds that are there on a Saturday or Sunday, this is he place to buy your food and enjoy the afternoon puddering around the place.

Wegmans is one of the best speciality food markets in America, in my opinion, and you can literally spend hours in the store. I went shopping with my sister and amazed at the huge variety of fresh and prepared foods, including a large salad bar, frozen foods, meats and even intertnaional specialties, British, Thai, Chinese and others. When you want to take a break, there is the Market Cafe, and you can sit in the a large seating area upstairs, which overlooks the vast store. Also in Wegmans is a pharmacy and drug store. This is a wonderful store that is very well managed.

I loved the fresh produce. Meat department could be better. But watch out for those salad and food bar for 7.99 a lbs. You think its not too much, a lbs is not that much when you pay 8 dollars for one piece of chicken and 2 spoon of rice. There is a lot of choice of food on the bar, but not worth that much when i paid $22.00 for two persons asian food on another day which didnt fill us up, when you can go to Tando buffet and get everything you can eat for $15.00...I will not be buying from the food bar but will go back to look for deals on other food items. Wegmans is a wonderful "grocery" store. It has a great selection of items. The produce is fresh. They have a good selection of Organic foods at reasonable prices. Their food prices are quite competitive even compared to big box grocery stores. Our only disappointment is that it a long trip to get there. However, we still manage to go there once or twice a month. As a side note, they have prepared food you can buy and tables to sit down and eat at. While there look for the suspended electric train that travels around the inside perimeter of the store.

I grew up with Wegmans in upstate NY. So glad it is in VA! Reasonable prices, and you can find anything and everything there. Produce and meats compare to no other store. The only issue I have with this store is the first entry/exit to the road. That part needs to be an entry only, and the exit should be at the back of the lot. Too many close calls with people assuming I am turning right into the lot when in fact I am going straight to the back of the lot. Almost been broadsided on numerous occasions.
