Anselm was my cashier and honestly the most oblivious person Ive interacted with in a long time. I requested a reusable bag where he was like "oh, I think you have to buy those. The last bag that was bought ripped immediately" I tried to ignore the negative comment and said, "of course I understand that, but if you could take it off this hook for me since I dont want to mess up the plastic bags hooked there as well Id appreciate it." He forgot after I mentioned it multiple times, then walked around with the scanner half wrapping me with the cord and said "is this what you wanted me to do?" Definitely not, and I messed up their bags cause he just scanned it, didnt take it off the hook as requested, and didnt pack any groceries in it. He did make conversation by asking questions about my day and if I had the day off for Presidents Day which I thought was nice and simply responded, "Oh no, I worked all weekend and today but thankfully have tomorrow off." To which he responded "Great, a long weekend!" I dont know why someone would ask a question and then ignore most of the answer. Also, the poor bagger. Anselm commented to me that the baggers arent helpful, theyll bag for him once and never come back. The way he talked down to this bagger in particular I dont have any doubts why no one helps him, hes terrible to be around and degrading. I didnt think checking out at a grocery store could be so frustrating, but his behavior put me in such a sour mood. I work in a hotel so I can put up with a lot, but this was another level.

I shop here a lot because it is conveniently located. As others have said the employees here are great. They are friendly and helpful. I also like the fact that they have a wide variety of items in a relatively small store. The fact that Harris Teeter is one of those annoying stores that make you carry a card to get their discounted prices automatically knocks them down to 4 stars in my book. The quality of their meats is usually great, but not always. The produce is more hit and miss. Some items are of outstanding quality. But, if you want to make salsa you are better off driving a mile down the road to Walmart (of all places) where they usually have much higher quality jalapeños and cilantro and sometimes for half the cost. It seems to be a Harris Teeter company policy to have lousy jalapeños and cilantro because Ive noticed the same thing in their other stores. If I didnt know better I would think they are trying to avoid catering to the Hispanic market.

I am a regular customer for years but just had a very disappointing visit to the oiza and adian bar that opened today.I was greeted at the front door with a young lady handing out pizza slices who said today only the whole pizza was $4.99..Great since I was there for the pizza.Turnedout lots of confusion over the price..pizza took twice as long as expected and the dough was so soft the pieces fell apart.The egg and spring tool from the Asian bar had very little filling and were tasteless.Since the grocery store experience is consistently excellent I remain a customer in that regard.If this was my first visit to Harris Teeter it would have been my last.

This Harris Teeter is terrible. Ive been to this location twice and each time was terrible. The first time, I went to get a salad and all the vegetables were wilted, discolored, or distasteful; needless to say I did not get a salad that day. The second time, I went to pick up a "take & bake" pizza from the deli. The box says "Supreme loaded with Italian sausage and pepperoni". I get home and find out that it has no sausage and no pepperoni just cheese. I will not be shopping at this Harris Teeter location anymore I will be glad to use the Giant from now on.

Staff are always friendly and attentive. If they see you mulling over the fruit, they offer you a piece to try. Many of the items are on a par with Wegmans for quality, but without the high prices and rude, pushy customers. I go out of my way to shop here, even though there are about six grocery stores that are closer to my house.

Love love love this store. If you do their express pickup and shop online to take advantage of their weekly sales, your savings are comparable to shopping at Walmart, but without the waiting in line and you get good customer service. Win -win situation. Also, organic foods are pretty competitively priced.

The management is very poor at this location and loves to linger around the customer service desk ignoring their employees when they need assistance. They are also most unfriendly to customers, so much so, we stopped visiting this location.

This is our favorite local grocery store. They dont obey price organic foods, are great quality and have great customer service. All the important things. Its also never crowded, unless you go on Wednesdays (Senior Discount Day)

I love this Harris Teeters and the pre cooked meals. The bakers and butchers are great and a nice selection on wine....To expensive to do my bulk grocery shopping but a treat to catch a couple items.
