If youre looking for a new, old, offbeat, mainstream, board, dice, card, role playing, or tabletop game, this is where you can go to find it. Millenium has pretty much everything weve ever looked for, and were a gaming family. From new releases and mainstream to rare finds, its there somewhere. Also, they have good selections of card binders, card protectors, tabletop protectors, dice bags, kits, and other items that would make great gifts for yourself or your gamer friends. There is a large gaming room that hosts regular meetups and can also be reserved for private parties; although we have never used it, it looks large, clean, and well-lit. Prices are retail and dont expect many sales. But if youre up for supporting your local gaming store, this is the place to go. Updating to add: we have now tried out the private game room. It was a pleasant experience; staff were fun and friendly; room was easy to book. There were a couple of gamers in the room when we arrived, but the store staff handled that professionally and we had plenty of time to set up the party. The room was large, well-lit, and the private bathroom was nice. We learned to ignore the lookee-loos who kept peeking in to see what was going on. There were missing parts in a few of the library games, and we missed the concierge experience that weve had in coffee game shops, but given that the room was free with purchase, we cant complain a whole lot. Still, maybe a suggestion for the future - charge a small amount of the room and offer a concierge employee who drops in every 20 minutes or so to check on needs and explain game rules. Would definitely do it again.

The staff at Millennium Games is typically very helpful, often ready to answer nearly any question or offer advice on a purchase provided theyre not already with a customer. I have no input on the Cyberstorm portion of the store but the diversity of products available at the store is quite nice. From the plethora of MtG merch to the large catalog of Board and Pen and Paper games, theres very likely something there for you. The only downside Id think worth mentioning is that users who frequent the store do a decent job hogging up some of the staffs attention and can be a little rude during events held at the store, often by over aggressive and non-newcomer friendly attitudes. That aside, I would be hard pressed to find another store with the diversity of products that Millennium has.

I decided to check out Millenium Games & Hobbies one afternoon. The interior was massive, they seemed to have a large selection, and there were people (customers and workers) discussing their games and strategies, which gave off a very friendly, welcoming feel. For me, however, the crown jewel of the store was their absolutely phenomenal collection of European board games. Their website doesnt make too big a fuss over it, so I wasnt expecting too much when I walked in, but they had nearly every major title Id heard of available (as well as some minor titles and hard-to-find collectors editions). Definitely the most well-stocked store Ive found!

My son (who is into Warhammer 40K) and I stopped in at Millennium Games recently as hes starting at Rochester Institute of Technology. Millenium Games has a large selection of Warhammer 40k items (among the largest I have seen outside of some Games Workshop stores). And they also have great selections of board games, modeling accessories like paints, glues, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. And as is usually the case I found a few items in the accessories area to use in my hobby of model railroading even though the shop does not stop model railroad items...

A staple visit every time we come to Rochester. This place has an amazing selection of new games, used games, and displays. The sheer volume of it is always a sight to behold. In addition to their retail area, the play space is equally large and full of fun and friendly people playing games! The staff is delightful and always willing to lend a helpful hand. Their reward program is another charming aspect as well, since we are from Virginia and only make it our a handful of times a year, our loyalty points never expire!

Quality of service has been extremely hit-or-miss. The most senior staff members tend to be dismissive and rude - in the context of questions about conventional board games, which make up perhaps half to two thirds of the stores inventory. For such an apparent heavy focus on board games I was surprised to be ignored or referred to the back of a games box. Millennium Games does host community game events and some staff have been engaged and helpful (or at least apologetic if not) in response to merchandise questions.

We just moved into the area and have found this great game store. The management and staff have been great in providing every potential avenue for a gamer to have fun. I play miniatures, board games and role playing games and all of the local players have been engaging and pleasant. If you cant find some people to play games and have fun here you are not going to have fun any where. One of the best stores in the country and I have been to a lot of them over the years.

Awesome local game store. I havent been too involved with events at the store, but every customer and staff member Ive interacted with has been very friendly and helpful when I had questions. Huge selection of board games from Catan to more obscure games. Also carry puzzles, which can be fun, and Frisbee golf stuff, which I find a little odd, but the place is so big it doesnt take room away from the games. Highly recommend. Support your local hobby/game store!

Board games and table top games for everyone, new and experienced. The employees were very helpful and guided my wife and I torward a board game that was more suited for cooperative play. On Wednesdays people can bring in their own board games to meet people and try new games. I would highly recommend this place to any one who wants to get into board games, trading card games, dungeons and dragons or even beginner and family friendly games.

Great hobby gaming store! Ive been coming here for years to play various card games and buy some of my board games. Theyve recently changed it up a little and no longer have the dark little cyber lounge in the back, and have expanded their product offerings. No longer just card games, board games, and tabletop RPGs... they now have comics and disc golf discs! Probably the largest selection of discs around!

Ive played in a few MTG events at Millennium and had a lot of fun. I was there for M15, Khans and Dragons prereleases and Ive done a few drafts. Lots of cool, friendly players. Not too salty. Pretty welcoming to newer players. The staff seemed a little hit or miss the first time I was there, but Ive since had much better experiences. They seemed helpful and knowledgeable.

Really incredible place. Super clean, well lit and very well organized. Tons of different game systems and a really great play area that was bustling with people. Popped in hoping to find some older, out of print tomb kings models and was super happy to find a few. Not from the area, but if I have another chance to drop in, Ill take it. Wish it was my local game store.
