I just left staples, it took me 45 minutes just to print and send out a package! 45 minutes! I dont mind the wait since it was busy, however, in the printing section the employees skipped me knowing that I was waiting first. They took FOREVER just print out a simple black and white return label. But thats not the worst part, after waiting 25 minutes just to print a label I went to send out my package since staples has a ups section where their CUSTOMERS can send out their package. Oh my god, the most rudest person attended me. He looked maybe Guinness, Im not completely sure and apparently no one wears name tags there so I couldnt even get his name. He was maybe in his 40s. Anyways he didnt seem like he didnt even want to work and had a nasty attitude the whole time, he gave ME the tape, scissors, and the label, that I just printed, and I had to prepare it myself !! Im pretty sure thats YOUR job. All the staples Ive been to I was always taken care of. But this was ridiculous! Afterwards, he made a smarty remark to what i said to him, a simple statement that I told him which was I want to do two transaction. Then I asked him a question and he looked at me and continued talking to his co worker. This happened TWICE. Ive never been so disrespected in my whole life and I am going to contact The Better Business Bureau to expresss my unbelievable experience. NO CUSTOMER should experience this. I will be taking my money to office max, even though I live a few blocks away from staples, I will not step into ANY staples again!

On 5/26/08 I called the Howard Beach, NY branch inquiring about scanning some documents and was told that the charge was 25cents per page. I asked the person if the same would be applicable at Atlantic Avenue branch being closer to my house and was told that it should be standard. I went to Atlantic Avenue and was told that the charge was $5.99 per page. My comment was, "Wow! Thats absurd". I got out from the store and went to Howard Beach branch. As promised, I was charged 25 cents per copy on PDF plus 25 cents per copy to USB port. When I got home, I called the Atlantic Avenue inquiring about the charge of scanning a document, spoke to Joannie who told me that the charge was $5.99 per page. I asked for the Manager, spoke to Giuseppe and I was told the same. I told him that I just got back from the Howard Beach branch and was charged only 50 cents per copy, and that he should do something about it.

I placed an order on-line for pick up. I received order confirmation & stated Id receive a notice within an hour to pick it up. Nearly 3 hours had passed and had not yet received a notification. I called the store, placed on hold for another 30 minutes only to be told that they did not have the item in stock yet and cancelled the order 2 hours ago. When I placed the order it stated that they had 4 in stock. I wasted over 3 hours waiting on an item that was never in stock to begin with!!! At least have the courtesy to inform me that it wasnt in stock when they cancelled the transaction instead of making me wait around like an idiot for a non existant item in their inventory. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Their customer service via phone is absolutely horrible!!!!!! I have been calling for the past hour and have been hung up on 5 times. My mom is an elderly person that placed an order in the store. She was told she could go pick it up today. In order to save her a trip I have been calling to see if the item has arrived. ( I would pick it up but do not live near her ). I have always enjoyed buying from staples even though they are a little pricer than discount stores. When calls are not answered or they answer and hang up on you more than once it is usually not a mistake. Managers talk to your workers...please!

Why I dislike this place is they are not nearly fully stocked with supplies & equipment. They are always missing something I need. Or only have one left on the shelf. So if I need two of the same item, I would be out of luck. Specially the plastic storage boxes. Always incomplete of sizes & selection of "Really Useful Boxes". The staff is scarce & dont ask if you need help. You never see management, probably on lunch all the time or coffee & smoke break.

I was helped in the Copy Center by an associate named Belinda. I was running late for a meeting with a new client and of course my printer had to shut down just when I needed it most. So I ran over to Staples and she not only got it done quickly, she turned it into a beautiful book-like presentation I could give my client even though her main copy machine went down as well - awesome service! When you need copies done right - go see Belinda!

Staff are nice and they obviously have all the office supplies that you need however they generally do not open on time and when you are standing outside waiting for the store to open and you see people milling around in there it is very frustrating. The staff are friendly and helpful its just that when you are in a rush and need to get some supplies that you need you dont want to have to wait any longer than you already need to.

good place to go for office and school supplies. They also have a limited amount of crafts supplies. There is a huge selection including computes, printers, faxes, et cetera. There are always coupons and you could save a lot of money. They run promotions and offer rebates. Great prices. Service is not consistant.

The store is like a hide away compared to the gateway store. It has a beautiful parking lot in the back and the service is great. Its never out of items on sale and the store is well stocked.
