“Legends of Great Flat White coffee” The blue corner cafe, which will make your day a little brighter, is pretty amazing. Blue fleece blankets were a welcome sight on a cold day, a week before Thanksgiving. Cafe is in two parts and we went to the rear part that had a bigger sitting area. After 5 minutes of settling in a cozy corner we were ready to order. We were a bit intrigued by the items in the menu, thankfully the manager was sitting near our table and was more than happy to explain. We had come out after lunch in the village and were looking for some coffee and dessert, so after much consideration we ordered 4 Flat whites, Affagato and a Long black. We went bonkers over the famous Australian flat whites (which were super smooth and not too bitter), and their Banana cake and blueberry cake doughnut. And of course I love the blue cup we got our coffee in. What makes everything fall in the Aussie cafe place is that the staff is also from the same part of the world and with the wonderful Aussie accents. The best part was the service, which was full of lovely conversations regarding how the coffee is made and what desserts to order. They were patient enough to explain the process and give us time explore the menu. I am going back very soon

Ordered 2 poached eggs. The eggs were literally stone cold in the middle. I called the waitress, showed her and asked for two more and exact same thing again. The bacon is so over cooked you cant even pick it up with your fork. When you stab it with the fork it just crumbles into pieces. When the waiter came to came to collect my nearly full plate, he just asked if I were finished and took the plate. When a plate is going back nearly full, its the job of the waiter to ask why, not just take your plate and run away. I understand its awkward for the waiter/waitress to ask if there was a problem with your meal, but if you cant do that, change industries. I realise its the chefs fault, but a good cafe is a team effort. If the waiter never asks why, the chef will never receive criticism, and without feedback things will never improve. Overall a disappointing experience. They pride themselves on being a Melbourne style cafe, but they have a long way to come if you cant cook warm poached eggs.

High quality ingredients, delicious Australian coffee, and corner outdoor/indoor seating on an absolutely gorgeous West Village street. We enjoyed Avocado Smash, Balthazar toast, and Granola with our flat whites. The toast was impressively thick, jams fresh, and avocado delicious. The place was busy on a Tuesday at 10am and seemed half populated by Australians - customers and servers, both. Service was a tad slow for what we ordered. Dont come here in a rush and youll have a delicious meal and great experience at Bluestone Lane Collective.

No respect for time, were not in Australia anymore. This is NY and people have to get to work in the morning. They made me wait 20 minutes this morning for a quinoa porridge which was pre-made and just needed the toppings. Once I asked 3x for it, they finally made it and forgot to include my pastry until I asked. If they have a cafe menu and checkout counter, they should have a system to efficiently handle to-go orders. Unfortunately, the food wasnt even good and I would not get it again.

I popped in for early breakfast on Saturday 930ish and it was the place to be, hopping with neighborhood families, dogs, kids. It felt like everyone was there hanging out on the sidewalk in front. The brekkie board came with a scrumptious combo of avocado smashed on toast and a granola yogurt cup. Both were great but regrettably quite small, so I was still considering round 2 breakfast when I left. Not cheap but worth it to sit and have a laid back breakfast in the glorious sunshine.

We just love the Australian coffee here! The ice latte with vanilla ice cream is the best! it is the real Australian ice latte, very refreshing super delicious! you can go for the ice cream on top first but then you will notice that the coffee is kind of bitter, so do it the correct way and mix all together! the place has a internal garden which is very cute, and all the blue and white decoration transported us to the sea coast. Also, the waitress is super nice

Between seeing the uncovered soup in the container coming in from outside the establishment and seeing the bags of bread rolls coming in and the cold beef brisket we received, im so disappointed in my experience here. The soup was luke warm. The brisket arrived cold. Then upon requesting a hotter dish, it returned dry and the meat was so chewy. Seeing your lunch enter in a container before its served to you is less than ideal. Service was good though.

Bluestone is an awesome gem nestled in the west village. The staff is so warm and nice, never making you wait too long for a table and never making you feel rushed no matter how crowded it is. To top it all off, the food is incredible. Ive tried many items off of the menu and I cant say I have a favorite; theyre all great in their own right. If youre looking for healthy, refreshing food and a pleasurable, relaxing experience this is the place to come.

i just got out of that place and felt completely ignored. I was seated and the waiter took a long time to even bring me the menu. After telling him that it was my first time and will like a simple orange juice before I made my decision I waited for some time while the guy keep coming asking for food .. after I told him I wanted the juice first he just ignored my request even when I asked more than once so I left after he passed by me many times .

Cute concept store with eats at the cafe. Happy to be having an American without extra charge for iced. The avocado toast is pretty basic without extra additions such as egg. The bread they use isnt the typical sourdough. I think Ive made better avocado toast myself! There is a nice outdoor patio for dining and the store is across the way with boutique items such as swell water bottles in cute designs.Pretty popular location it seems at 10am.

As part of a self-made Greenwich Village coffee crawl, we stopped at this randomly Australian cafe on a Sunday morning. Since the sun was out, all the outdoor seats were taken by the hippest of NYCs crowd. There was a wait for just to-go coffee, but not bad at all. My latte was amazing and the pastries were quality. As we waited for our order, we saw dozens of the most amazing avocado toasts being served, so well be back to try that!

Customers love the Australian accents, tight quarters and artisanal coffee at this kitsch coffee shop. But Im completely lost by the food: Its not that avocado toast, granola yogurt or quinoa porridge are terrible to eat, but is it really worth spending your Saturday brunch eating what you could pull out of your own refrigerator? Feel free to visit, but know youre paying entirely for a scene that seems out of place for the Village.

The space is tight, and the food is photogenic. Three dining rooms are not obvious with a quick view from the storefront. There is one small wheelchair-inaccessible, albeit nice, restroom. Seating is meant for smaller people since tables are short and closely placed. Food is photogenic, but every bite is not consistent. Our topping of smoked salmon for our avocado smash toast was rolled prettily on top, but bites felt uneven.
