Ive been taking my wifes VW Beetle to this location for a few years, now... two sets of new tires. I brought it in recently to get the tires rotated and balanced, and front-rear alignment. When I got the car back, I immediately noticed an odd vibration in the front passenger tire that hadnt been there before; unfortunately, I put it down to the fact that the tires were "bedding in" in their new position, and had to drive out to Columbus, OH the next day... thought theyd bed in, but they never did. I just took the Beetle back to the shop to have them look at the balance of the tires; they told me that my rims were dented, and that Id probably hit a pothole. WTH??? This issue started AS SOON as I rolled out of their garage, but they told me that Id hit a pothole. They said that they would have spotted the dented rim while they were rotating everything, but they didnt - I felt the odd vibration as I drove away, but didnt know enough to turn around and bring it back immediately. They refused to take any responsibility for the issue, and attempted to sell me on getting the rims re-conditioned - for $275 each. DO NOT go to this shop. They do not stand behind their work, they will attempt to cheat you, and they will do shoddy work in the first place. Go anywhere else.

We stopped here on our way from Maryland to Maine on the Labor Day weekend. We had experienced a tire emergency on the Saw Mill Parkway (horrible road for any one not familiar with the area - it felt like we were on a racetrack!) and this place was very convenient to where we had stopped to change our tire. As soon as we got into the parking lot, someone came out to greet us and assess what our needs were. The time it took for the new tires to be installed, was very quick. We couldnt have asked for a better experience than what we had. Very professional in every way and we left without feeling like we had been taken advantage of. Thanks for the wonderful service, its always nice to find that it does still exist in the U.S. and can far exceed what your expectations are.

In general, I was satisfied with the service when I bought two new Yokohama Avid Ascend tires for my Ford Focus. However, when it came to torquing the lug nuts, the technician doing it had little understanding as to why it is carried out i.e. to ensure that the nuts are neither over tightened, nor under tightened. He first tightened the lug nuts using an air wrench, which has a definite tendency to over tighten. He then used a torque wrench, but failed to first loosen off the nuts, which just left the nuts in an over tightened condition. This can make it very difficult to change out a wheel on the road in the event of a tire puncture, unless you have a breaker bar to apply to the wrench.

Went for a tire change and left the car there. First they tried to upsell and called me and said my brakes are almost metal on metal. Thats fine except I knew my brakes are brand new as I had just had all 4 replaced only a month ago. Ok maybe they got confused or something. Then, when the tires were done and I went to pick up the car, I (fortunately) noticed that they charged me twice for alignment. Thats almost an extra $90. When I pointed it out, the guy reviewed it, adjusted it and said itll be credited back to me in so many days. No explanation why they messed it up, nor any apology, and certainly didnt seem surprised. Im never coming back to this place, if any Mavis, ever again.

Danger , Danger...they will try to sell or trick you into things you dont need ! I needed 1 tire , the sales guy said he could get me out in 45 mins! I return 45 mins later and my car was in 20 pieces, they said I needed to talk an adviser.... He said I needed 3 more tires and new shocks My 2 back tires are 5 weeks old! and my car has 60,000 miles on it. and way too new to need shocks! This is the 2nd time they tried this on me.... a few years ago I went there to get an oil change... I got back ....same thing... Oh you need back breaks! your care is dangerous!...They lasted 15,000 miles longer MY KEY POINT...this place tries to screw you as their regular order of buisness!

I can honestly state that the team at Mavis in Mount Kisco was extremely accommodating, knowledgeable as well as professional. I felt comfortable having them work on my truck and trusted their recommendations as what should be done to properly service my vehicle. The shop manager Mr. Stracuzza answered all of my questions and genuinely showed concern for automobile and delivering 5 star service. It is obvious that the staff works as a team and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. Great prices! I will continue to bring my vehicles to this location in the future.

I have been using Mavis in this location on and off for many years. I have found them to be reliable and courteous and have never had any problems with any of the tires I have bought there or had changed/rebalanced etc. I called for an appointment, got a better price on my Toyota tires than at the dealer, and went in 2 hours later and was out well in advance of the scheduled time. The facilities for customers are a little old, but I did not expect the First Class Lounge at United Emirates airline either--it is a tire garage after all.

BE careful as they scratched all my rims when putting on new tires. They first tried to sell me the tires they wanted...but I insisted I knew better (which I do)...and I think as a result they were annoyed and thus I went home with scratched and CHIPPED wheels. DO NOT GO HERE. Just try somewhere else, anywhere else. Additionally, they tried to sell me brakes for my BMW which had recently been serviced at BMW Mt Kisco (and they said the brakes were fine). Trust me, BMW would love to do brakes if they were needed.

This is by far one of the most negligent businesses in the industry next to sears. Complained to joel about a salesman who tried to sell me counterfeit struts, when i asked i request monroe sensitracts, joel calls me countless times, aggrevated harrasment the makes false assertions to local police who now call me that i harassed him, imagine? I hung up on that a$$hole everyone needs to band together and make a class action lawsuit.

I have been going to Mavis now for about 6 years for service on all my cars. I come from a family of mechanics. They are now out of the business and I was spoiled. I went to Mavis and met Tony and Debbie. I have gotten service from them and never felt I was ever up-sold on any service I didnt need. They were always fare about there prices. The work has always been good and I never had to go back to fix what they did for me.

Mavis of Mount Kisco has excellent service- and customer service! Debbie went above and beyond to get us snow tires in late Dec. when snow tires were sold out everywhere. We were driving north for the holidays and she sent a taxi to pick up the tires we needed. We had the tires within an hour! As we drove through a whiteout around Binghamton, everyone in the car was thankful to Debbie and Mavis Tires!
