Attention Walmart Human Resource Dept. Please Hire Some Educated People or A person with Half a Brain to work at this store! The sales associates working doesnt have a CLUE what they are doing, I ask for a supervisor and A SPACE Admiral from Planet Dingleton shows up. I explained to him that I would like to Purchase Ammunition and explained to him that i was an N.Y.S. Officer and show him my Credentials he said I needed a Pistol Permit or a letterhead from work. I advised him that Officers Arent required to have a pistol permit I am authorized by the State of New York to carry A Firearm. Did I Travel to canada by accident and yes I Spelled it with a lower case c because they are retarded there also! Walmart if your in dying need of Workers atleast educate them with some knowledge And Have some Common sense! This Store Is all a Bunch of Rejects Coming from Planet Dingleton. Get off your sister and read a book! They might as well change the name to "F*cktards R us"....

last week i just brought a water filter from this Walmart, but filter is not match with my fauce, so i went to Walmart customer service center speak with a guys name Jo00(i use zero to hide last two letter), he told me "i am unable to return this filter, the reason is price over 10 dollars", so i go there take a new one, ask him again, if i can exchange it. he told me again, "item over 10 dollars unable to exchange and return without receipt because its our new policy".(the way he treat customer attitude is very bad, i was pissed off). so i went online check Walmart policy there didnt said anything about no receipt unable to return the hardware. so i ask for manager, manger said there is no any policy said no receipt unable to return it, so manger let other agent help me which treat customer very good, and Jo00 run away. dont let some experience people fools you, check online or let manager to help you.

I went to Walmart in Ithaca today and spent thirty minutes standing by the jewelry counter where one clerk saw me and ignored me. She was standing less than ten feet from me and this was not the first time I have had this situation happen with the same clerk!!! I think her name is Cindy; she is tall, over weight, and mean. I will not be going to this store again based on this incident. I went to the register to get assistance and the small older gentleman did not even know how to call someone for me! So he asked the manager who was walking by him and she did all she could not to look near me and kept walking without assisting me. I have never wanted to bring someones poor work ethic to top level executives as I do today!!! I will say the jewelry rep was pleasant and did what she could to smooth my ruffled feathers, however the way the people working at Walmart need retraining!!!!

I was in the store yesterday and was disturbed at the way the employees talked bad about each other in front of customers. As I was at the register checking out, there was a cashier that was training another cashier on the register. Long story short, they needed the head cashier to come over with her key to void out an item that didnt come up at the sale price. As we stood their waiting the cashier was telling the one she was training how slow they were at coming over to help, they always took their time and stopped to talk to other people, and continued bad mouthing the head cashier who they were waiting for. When the head cashier came over, (it had been less than 5 minutes) I actually knew her!!! So unprofessional of that cashier to bad mouth a fellow employee in front of customers. Shame on her!!!!

This is one of the worst Walmarts I have been in. They are always out of stock on items I want or need and the store is usually a mess. Waiting times in the checkouts is very long and they could seem to care less. I was overcharged for an item at the checkout and when I told the cashier, he told me I had to go to customer service and wait in line again. I feel really bad for the employees. I know they are not being paid well and have little or no MEANINGFUL benefits. I try to avoid shopping at this store and all Walmarts since I do not support the way Walmart senior management takes care of its employees. Walmart can launch all the PR campaigns it wants about how good they are to employees, but the facts state otherwise.

Ive seen some pretty bad Walmart stores, and some pretty good ones. Walmart Ithaca is one of the worst Ive seen anywhere. Unorganized or empty shelves, piles of merchandise on the floor (especially in any clothing dept.), unengaged sales staff with no clue as to where to find merchandise, staff not wearing uniform/nametag or in dirty clothes. And I havent even started on the grocery part....wow! With this store, Walmart once again proves to me and so many others how much it loaths it employees and customers. Thank you, Walmart, for meeting my expectations of what Walmart really stands for. You people (management and above) are complete idiots.

Most of the employees here are helpful and trying to do a good job... the big frustration (underscore BIG) is that there are never enough cashiers. Every time I go here, if its 2pm, 11pm, 2am... there are always long lines. If youre not going to pay your people well, you should at least have more cash registers open. Its great to be able to buy socks, toothpaste, etc, at 2 in the morning, just wish that you didnt have to wait 10-20min in line every time you go there. Edit: 2016, nothing different. Friday night, 3 lines open, 10 people per line. This Walmart makes me feel ashamed for other Walmarts.

The website states they are dog friendly and weve been in this store 4 or 5 times this week with our therapy dogs but this time we were stopped at the door and were told we had to wait for the employee to check on the dog policy. The employee came back and we were told that they were not pet friendly and she was sorry the store keeps changing their policy reguarding this issue . We have always had good experiences in Walmart stores and the fact that they allow pets is one of the main reasons we shopped there. It is sad they are not committed to the policy that they list on their own website.

Can be really crowded at times and the produce stocking and quality can be sub par when compared to other Walmarts. If your an early bird shopper you between 6 and 7 am you will be disappointed by the produce being only the bruised rubbish or under ripe fruit that no one wants. Some of the workers behind the counters in the deli often have an attitude, Though the store needs to get the smokers away from the front doors of the building .. its incredibly disgusting having to walk though a haze of cigarette smoke.. even worse when I go there with my kids should not be subject to that.
