Absoultely insane. The staff is fine, theyre friendly enough, but oh my God, weve been here 3 hours now. Were here for an eye checkup that was scheduled for 10:00, and as of this review, its currently turning 1:00. Four times now, four different people have come in and said "the doctor will be here in just a few minutes". THREE HOURS, and were still waiting. My mother is basically a melting pot of physical disabilities, arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, a replaced hip etc, and she has to use a walker to get around. They told her "sorry you cant bring that in to the room, we require space" And so she was forced to leave it with me in there waiting room. She cant sit for extended periods of time, and shes told them all as much, but apparently that doesnt matter to them, as theyve stuck her in four different rooms with uncomfortable chairs, and making her sit in positions that she isnt supposed to sit in due to her hip replacement. You know the saying "dont judge a book by its cover"? Yeah, that applies to this place. These buildings are beautiful, the waiting rooms are spacious and nice, but WOW is this place actually terrible. Under no circumstances should we still be here after three hours, and treated like crap to boot. If it were possible, I wouldnt even give this place one star. Unfortunate that there are only a few eyes doctors in town, but if you HAVE to pick one, dont make it this one. By the way, its now 1:30, still waiting for the doctor to show up. EDIT: Its now 2:00. Still here. EDIT: 2:20, FINALLY all done.

Go somewhere else. I have vsp and they dont take it. They dont disclose charges and fees you are responsible for at the time of service, but expect you to pay it. If they submit to insurance and it gets denied, then they come after you for double. What eye doctor doesnt take vsp? Its one of the best plans out there. Really shady business practice. Had I known I would be responsible I wouldve paid their bs 25 dollar cancelation fee on the spot to cancel that appointment I had set 15 minutes later.

If you choose to use their services you need to know EVERY right that you have. They have their own interest and so they are NOT telling you that your annual would be free of charge in a few days instead of today, there is no cancelation list, so you need to call endless times and they are NOT checking to see if your insurance covers the service, so they ask directly for top money. My recommendation: Go somewhere else!

Arleo Eye Associates is a professional, knowledgeable and caring group of doctors and staff. Our family has been under their care for years using their services for issues ranging from annual check-ups, contact and glasses fittings to major vision issues, including emergencies. We would not go anywhere else. They treat you like family.
