Firstly let me say I love this place. My frustration lies in today and today only. I have been trying to make an appointment to have my dog groomed since 3.36pm this afternoon. It is now 8.03pm. I have rung at least 8 times to be left in hold each and every time. The one time someone answers me they cannot find my phone number, even though I have my dog groomed there every 4 weeks, so she took a message for the groomer to call me back which did not happen. Finally I rang and was told the person who books the appointments has gone home which is understandable its 8pm. I asked to talk to a manager and was told I am one of the managers but I will put you through to someone. I hung up after waiting a further 3.49 minutes. So I am hoping tomorrow I dont spend another 4 hours trying to book a simple grooming appointment. EXCESSIVELY FRUSTRATED. You can bet no one cares either.

I did not go to the store but I was given a parakeet as a pet/gift from this location. My friends who bought her were told that she is a he/male & that they clip their birds wings for safety. Ive had parakeets b4 from petsmart & all of them could fly, great personalities; fun, happy birds. I love this my green parakeet Ro to death & i hate seeing her struggle while her wings grow back. She is super frustrated a the time & seemingly in pain. Idk what all i can do but pls be careful buying birds here. Its been 8 months and her wings are still not grown in. She flaps as hard as she can & cries when she cant get where she wants to go. She has to rely on me when shes out the cage. She is having a very hard time. A bird that cant fly :(

Really great pet friendly place, they even have little things like free water for your dogs. Prices are just okay, however a lot of sales happen at this location at different times. I recommend signing up for the free Petco membership card. There is a huge selection of different pet food here, like really good but pricey organic pet food, it goes to you pay for quality though. A lot of the workers at this place seem to really care about pets so thats nice also. Good experience overall.

The best aquatic section HANDS DOWN. All the fish are healthy& beautiful THE AQUARIUMS AND WATER QUALITY ARE perfectly maintained.. It was SO nice to walk through and not see one dead/unhealthy fish floating. THIS LOCATION has thE healthiest & most beautiful fish Ive EVER WITNESSED IN AN AQUAUATIC SECTION OF a pet store . BUY YOUR FISH FROM A WELL MAINTAINED TRANQUIL healthy PLACE!!! :) this Petco has them there :)!!!

We are amazed with grooming work by Jennifer!!! Let me say that we have Bouvier des Flandres and we r searching for groomer 4 years now that knows how to groom and do the cut that he needs! We finally found Jennifer who did that no other groomer "professional" could do and we have been in many. Great great job! The people that work in this Petco is very friendly and helpfull! The best Petco by far!

Walker Hotel Greenwich Village

This is a great location with a huge selection for all pet lovers. I have a dog and have been taking him to Petco now for a few months. I used to do it myself and tried this location based on a friends recommendation. I wont go anywhere else. Jennifer is the best and my dog Winston sits so nice for her (unbelievable!) There is a ton of free parking and a shopping center to enjoy while you wait.

I have never had a problem in this petco before but today i had this problem with the fish person made me wait so long because supposedly he was helping these people because they were buying so many things but i feel like he couldve devided his time and just grabbed a fish it wouldve taken him 2 seconds and i wouldnt have been upset, great way for them to help chstomers and make money

I wish this store had more fish tank setups on display for sale the store gets very boring very quick the toy sections for dogs or any other animals are kinda limited and boring the good a vet on site every Saturday they also open Saturday at 9 and grate parking

Because staff have very bad haircut dogs Apart they charge much for nothing My dog went very badly cut hair like a person who does not know it would miss and pay $ 84 I will never return to that place

Large selection of stuff to gt any of the supplies you need. I wouldnt come here for dog training though as they dont seem that educated. They just keep feeding em treats! Which is not the correct way of doing things.

Not the best selection of fish supplies and only an okay selection of cat supplies. The store is set up weird but if you have a dog they seem to have plenty of supplies for you.
