I admit, Im fairly new to grocery shopping, but the service that was provided to me by this Price Chopper was absolutely unacceptable. First off, I took advantage of some "sales" that were going on during my visit, and after checking out the receipt said I saved $8. I came in with $49, which was what was left of my paycheck, and on the receipt it listed the cost as $37, so (not counting change) I shouldve had at least $11 or $12 left, but when I went to buy another couple of things, the machine kept saying "transaction declined". I looked at my checking account, and found I had $3 left... 3 freaking DOLLARS. Saving $8 might not seem like a lot to most people, but people that dont make much (like myself) know that it IS a lot. The 2ND thing that happened is that apparently Price Chopper sells milk that expires in two days. I bought a gallon of milk on the 10/16 and the expiration date on it was 10/18. HOW does ANYONE expect someone to drink a gallon of milk in two days? Thats ridiculous. When most people get a gallon of milk, it lasts at LEAST a week and a half (if not drank by then), and up to two weeks tops. The reason why Price Chopper sold me milk that expires in two days is because they are a greedy, corporate, cash cow that doesnt give a crap about their consumers. I will be taking my hard earned cash to Aldis from now on. Screw Price Chopper. I wish P&C never went under.

the people that you have working for you at the w.carthage ny store go above and beyond. i know you have a very small store at this location but the products are scarce on the good note the employees order things for me and they have even stopped at the watertown location to pick up items for me. i dont think you could find a more motived group to work for you, they are GREAT!!!!!

They have signs that theyll open up more registers if more than 2 people are waiting....but Ive never seen that happen... Would like to see a better selection of childrens wash items...especially since there is a pharmacy I thought for sure they would have fragrance free shampoo; but no.

Always check your grocery list after visiting Aldis, for needed items. Price Chopper seems to be able to fit that need. Prices are a bit more than average. Store is always clean, and friendly employees.

i find this Price Chopper to be not as nice compared to other that I have been too. For example, the meat selection is not as good and sometimes finding a specific brand may be difficult.
