I bought a 97 Chevy Lumina from Ed in 2010 for about $2000, and it is still running strong after taking me to St. Louis, then back to Brockport, and then over to Worcester, Massachusetts. Ed is a great guy and subscribes to the philosophy that being a friendly and honorable person will get you far in life. He gives warranties on all of his cars because he and his crew thoroughly assess each ones condition and fix any problems they find. They primarily advertise on craigslist, so be sure to check out their stuff under the "Used cars—by dealer" section. They are sometimes referred to as "Colby Street Garage," too. Why am I reviewing them years after I did business with them? Well, I thought that my car had finally kicked the bucket and I needed to search for used cars in Massachusetts. I just kept thinking that I wish I lived in Brockport so I could buy from Ed again. As it turns out, a second opinion on my car showed that shes not done yet! If you need a used car but dont want to pay a ton of money for peace of mind, you should check these guys out. Word of warning—theres another used car dealer on the property adjacent to him, and that is not the place I am recommending. Go to the place with the big barn with a red stripe.

Not impressed at all. Took a week from the day we paid for the car to actually take possession due to check engine light going on. Registered the car and drove it to work the next day. Noticed that the windshield washer fluid wouldnt pump, the heater/blower fan didnt work and the rear power windows didnt open. Called to see about getting these fixed and had to leave message. Second day the check engine light came back on. Took the car back and he had for a few days, but the rear windows (both drivers side and passenger) werent fixed. Said wrong part and would call. Husband left several messages, no response. Finally I get a hold of him and was told they were waiting for us to call and set something up. We didnt even know he had the parts. Take it in and get called saying wrong parts, need to pick it up and bring it back. Get 3 calls in a day saying parts are in and can stay while they fix it. Told my husband they are only fixing 1 windows as they "met us half way". There was NO talk about only repairing 1 window. Now wont answer the phone!! NOT COOL!!

Complete rip off. Bought a 2009. Window read it needs nothing and is in good condition, within a week check engine light came on, drove the hour to bring it to him to fix it. Three days after that check engine light back on. Brought it back. Yet again check engine light. Needless to say they sold me a straight lemon for $3,200 and its not even two months later and Ive broke down in the middle of the highway with two small children in the backseat. Told there is 6 codes ,and the main one is the engine timing is off. MEANING I NEED A WHOLE NEW MOTOR. DONT BUY FROM THEM. THEY DONT CARE AND WILL SELL U A CAR THAT WILL BREAK DOWN IN A WEEK AND REFUSE TO REFUND YOUR MONEY. take my advice and go to someone with good faith and its not this place cuz Im out of over 3 grand and have no car so good luck.!!!!!!

Hamilton garage is such a great place to buy a car I bought my Saturn there and its the best car I have had yet anything that needed done to it they did they fixed up everything its was just like new before I even took it out the lot they made sure it had everything it needed I have had this car for a year now and I havent had a problem yet if I need anything for my car I good to them they are nice honest ppl and very friendly it was just a all round great atmosphere any time I need something done with my car I will always go to them

Eds auto is the best place to buy a car they are so polite and respectful they helped me pick out the right car for me and right in my price range to I am so happy with my chevry trail blazer its so clean and nice for a Used car and they told,me if I have any issues to bring the car back and they would give me a diffrent one until my car is fixed this is my first time buying a car and I am so happy with the experices

I bought a blazer from ed in September 2014 right of the bat there was problems yes he fixed a few things but charged me labor I thought whatever I have a decent truck thought wrong everything that could have gone wrong did the truck was a lemon and I got screwed I would never go back to this dealer only had the truck for 4 months wow

SCAM ARTIST!!! BIGGEST SCAMMER IN THE ROCHESTER AREA. All of Eds cars are straight from the JUNKYARD. He then pays Mr Tire a lil extra to inspect them. Youre better off buying from a stranger on Avenue D. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ! YOU WILL NOT ONLY REGRET IT BUT YOU WILL BE FOREVER PAYING FOR REPAIRS ON YOUR JUNKYARD CAR.

SCAM. bought a car which they fake inspected and within a week it broke. They kept it for 3 weeks and it broke again as soon as I got it. Refuse to help me out and claim that car breaking is my fault. Now Im out 3 grand and mad. Ed is a scam artist. Hope his whole business goes under. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This place sells complete lemons. The car that I bought there lasted 7 months and was referred to by my car mechanic as a "worthless piece of junk". Be extremely cautious when buying anything from there.
