Absolutely horrible, refuses to honor store refund policy thats printed right on every receipt. Sold me a defective alternator that I had my dealer install (I needed the part immediately and the dealer was going to take 2 days to get the part, which is why I purchased the alternator from Autozone). I understand that all alternators sold by places like Autozone and Pep Boys are rebuilt -- what I didnt understand is that to Autozone, "rebuilt" means "doesnt work." It cost me an additional $220 in labor to have their defective alternator installed and then uninstalled (and then a new one installed). Printed right on the Autozone receipt is their 90 day warranty stating that any defective part could be returned to any Autozone location for a replacement or refund. When I tried to return the defective alternator to Autozone for a refund, they refused. They would only offer a replacement rebuilt alternator. Keep in mind that their first defective alternator already cost me $220 in wasted labor -- why would I take another alternator from them?? Absolutely horrible customer service, and refusal to honor a return policy thats printed right on their own receipt. AVOID AUTOZONE UNLESS YOU ENJOY COLLECTING EXPENSIVE PAPERWEIGHTS.

Their customer service is about par, they often are under staffed leaving you waiting for a long period, but there are some guys who work there that have a good amount of knowledge

All my experiences here have been pretty good.. Recently returned 2 seat covers, with damaged box and they took it, no problem.
