I had sent my girlfriend flowers for her birthday I had bought something really extravagant. I was quiet hesitant in ordering but since there was positive customers in the store I was convinced. the day came for her to get the flowers teddy bear and chocolates, the second she got the flowers she called me up and thanked me. she said that the flowers looked freshly picked and arranged, "so magnificent" and also that the chocolates were so sweet and delicious it was like they were just made, and last but not least the teddy bear was soft as a cloud she said that every night she could picture me being with her because of the teddy. when i met up with her her smile was glowing from her birthday present. Called early Saturday to have flowers delivered to my Grandmother for Mothers Day a day early. By Mothers Day Sunday, my grandmother let me know they still had not gotten there. I called to find out what was going on, the woman told me there had been a "mix up" with the drivers and they werent sure where the flowers were. Without offering any additional add-ons although my same-day delivery had not arrived on the same day, she assured me my grandmother would receive flowers by Sunday 5 pm when they closed. She never received the flowers and now my Grandmother has nothing from me on Mothers Day. Thanks, Bayside Florist.

I called them to inquire about an order of Hawaiian Lei for my sons upcoming graduation. The owner was extremely rude on the phone. He asked what flower for the lei and I said Orchid. He seemed annoyed and said thatll be at least $150. I told him that I ordered that before at Great Neck Florist and it was no where near that price. He then told me "well then you can go ahead and buy it from them" and hung up the phone. I just placed an order with Great Neck Florist and paid $45 for the lei. The only reason I was shopping elsewhere was because its closer to my sons school but I guess they just dont want my business.

Greg at Bayside Florist is my go to guy!! I always use local merchants and my business partner is not far from their shop. I have "Always" gotten the big oohs and aahhs when I have flowers delivered by them. (And isnt that what you want when you send flowers?) I tell Greg what my budget is and he takes care of the rest. The flowers are always beautiful, fresh and they last for a long time.

Disgusting business. Extremely over priced flowers that werent even fresh enough to be presentable. The owner had the nerve to insult its customers about their flower knowledge and price. Not even worth a star, plenty of other florists in the area thats a lot cheaper and fresher flowers. Not sure how this place stays in business.

The Christmas gift basket looked lovely until we opened it - moldy grapes, mold on the pineapple, 99 cent store " goodies" with sketchy off- brand names like mrs. Freshleys and oven baked. You, ve got to be kidding! The worst!! Ive never bothered to write an on- line review before but this fruit basket was truly inspirational.

Not sure if hes not used to black people in Bayside, because there are just two or three out here (it seems). I got a racist vibe from him. But I wouldve purchased at least 3 plants had he not been so short and dismissive toward me. I even said "thank you" and he turned his back and walked away. *sigh*

I was referred to them by a local restaurant where I was hosting a bridal shower. I called to get some pricing and information and the man, apparently the owner, was so short and rude on the phone! If you dont want to help people--- get out of the business!!

Pricey but worth it. Very kind, and their roses/pants last for a long time. A dozen roses always last me for at least 2 weeks if well taken care of. What I like best, they pick them fresh. Not prewrapped like other places.
