Ive ordered from Central Florist four times now. Before that, I relied on either the online florists or FTD (who pick out a local florist for you) because theyre cheap, but I was never very satisfied. The flowers didnt last more than a few days and they were always slightly disappointing - not much smell, and smallish blooms. I finally looked up a local florist in town myself and tried out Central Florist, and I was glad I did! The flowers in every order Ive placed have been huge, always fresh, and really fragrant. It is amazing how the quality of the flowers themselves can differ so much from one florist to another - Ive never had better flowers than from Central Florist. Delivery has never been a problem either; theyre always on time, which I cant say about any of the online florists Ive tried. Im honestly here trying to get their average review score up, because theres no way they deserve only a 3.6 rating. Theyve been 5 stars for me every time Ive used them.

I was ordering flowers for a funeral service 3000 miles away. The florist website was linked from the funeral home. The order process was very simple. Once the order was completed the florist called to say the arrangement I chose was not available. They offered to put together a nice arrangement for the service. I agreed. I do appreciate that they called to let me know my choice was not available. But the bottom line is, I have no idea what was finally derived to the service. It could have been great or not. Buying flowers on line is very tricky. How do you ever know what you are getting? Heres a million dollar idea. Email the sender a photo of the arrangement just before it is delivered. Several days later I heard from the recipients of the flowers. They said they were magnificent. They said that they knew the flowers were from me because they were so creative and beautiful. Thank you Central Florist for making my presents felt when I could not be there.

Our family ordered flowers for the birthday of our 91 year old mother/grandmother. We left specific instructions in writing with the order, and then followed up with a phone call and voice mail instructions, asking that if she was not there the flowers should be left at her apartment door. At 91, it would be very difficult for her to carry the flowers any distance, hence the request. However, either Central Florist did not bother to provide this guidance to its delivery person, or the delivery person chose to just ignore it and instead brought the flowers to an office in the next building (my mother had gone out briefly to Rite Aid). It was absolutely impossible for her to get the flowers from there. With the help of some friends we managed to recover, but Central Florists abysmal Customer Service made what was supposed to be a nice surprise into a very difficult situation. We will never be using their services again!

AMAZINGGG Lisa-Marie and her team are one of a kind. Being from out of town and planning a wedding out of country is a hard job in itself. Working with Central Florist and Lisa-Marie made it very easy and so pleasant. The flowers for my wedding, bridal party and center pieces were beyond gorgeous. Everything I had dreamed of became a reality. Guests were so impressed with the quality and detail of everything. I am so sad we are not from the area because any event or just picking up flowers for the house, I would go to Central Florist to work with them. Best in the business!
