Most recent visit. I recently came here looking for a game for my Xbox one. Looked it up online and it said they had it instock at the store. After arriving amd being unable to locate the game, i asked for help and the associate went on the hunt. 4 minutes later he returned and sadly could not locate the game, he went to his computer and told me he wanted to check one more place. Some clicking later, he was off again. Another 3 minutes and he returned again empty handed and defeated, so he told me that it may have been held for someone at that time. He looked up the game again, and made a phone call to the nearest best buy. He said that he found it at another best buy only 10 minutes away and apologized for the hassle. I accepted his apology, drove to the other store and picked up my game. Most stores would brush customers off, i know the best buy in Westbury certainly would. This location has stepped its game up as far as customer service. Keep up the good work!

If you need to return an item the staff will be nasty and try to make you uncomfortable. Ive returned 3 online purchases (lifetime total returns at this store) and received a bad attitude every time and a returns warning slip with the 3rd return. Another time I went in to purchase an MP3 player and the model I was interested in was open and looked like a return. It was the last one. I asked the customer service rep if I could open the package to verify the contents and she basically accused me of opening it to get a discount. Ive got this little teenage brat giving me an attitude like Im pulling a scam to save 5 bucks on a 30 dollar MP3 player. I have never experienced a retailer with such an aggressive and nasty culture in regard to returns. It obviously starts with management and trickles down to the kids working in there. I wouldnt suggest shopping in this store and I wouldnt let my kid work there either.

This was our first trip to this Best Buy. We went on a Sunday morning for a new digital camera that my husband needed for work (he is not a tech type person and we knew going in that we would need help). Upon arrival there was a line of people waiting outside as they had not opened yet, we did not realize it didnt open until 11 on Sunday). Once inside the store is very well lit, quiet, clean and air conditioned. There is help at the door to direct you to the right department and will actually call someone over for you if needed. We found an employee that was very helpful in the selection of cameras and very experienced in memory cards and accessories needed explaining all the details my husband needed. He also pointed out which ones were on sale which was very helpful. All and all a great experience, excellent staff!

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY....Best buy usually the worst place to buy because HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE .... Today me my wife and son went there to buy a camera we were ready buy a camera and ask for help one with Beard on try to call someone after 15 min wait no body came to help us at the same time same Beard guy start helping customer who even came after us . Then i went to that GREATER girl name LEA and asked her if she can call someone to help us after another 10min no one came all young Guys were walking around DOING NOTHING then when we were leaving my wife asked LEA FOR MANAGER she said everyone was busy then she said WTF shame on her i am going to call BEST BUY CORPORATE OFFICE and filling complaint with CONSUMER affair . LEA WILL LEARN HER LESSON. And best buy BAY SHORE

Horrible service in mobile phone department. Salesperson tried to charge a restock fee after being sold a defective TMO device overheated almost 89% of the time. Told him the restock fee is wrong to charge and unsafe with all the exploding battery defects. I specifically requested an exchange to a different device that worked with WiFi calling. Sale person sold me a device that did not have WiFi calling capabilities after promising it did, as well as, promising a $35 restock fee if I brought it back. Went to another Best Buy and exchanged it for an actual working device while paying the restock fee. These guys arent supposed to lie and do so for restock fee commissions!

Geek squad VERY POOR SERVICE. Agents do not follow thru with promises! Called for a replacement smartphone under service plan, was charged a security deposit on credit card, and after 7 days I still havent received replacement. When I followed up with UPS tracking number on web page it was invalid. 3 different live reps said they would return call and fix problem.NEVER DID! Was on hold a combined total of over 1 hour. Said they would have a supervisor call me back, NONE DID! Still waiting! Was told this can only be done online and no longer in store. Very disappointed. Still waiting for replacement phone to replace mine.

If you do shop here, dont ever site-to-store a gift of any kind. Theres a chance your purchase will be resold to someone else before you arrive and youll be offered to buy a different item without credit, meaning you pay twice to get one item, then they refund you the original order in he mail..presumably down the road. When this happened to me it was a gift for my son and I just was not going to have it done to me so I simply called their bluff and walked out with the closest comparable. But I think the best way to handle this is to simply not use their site-to-store option in tight situations.

Im an active sailor in the U.S. Navy, and the little time I am home, I usually tinker around in my car. I went to best buy to pick up a cheap amp for my speakers and the guy pointed to one that he thought I should get. I asked him if he was sure and he started going through the stats of my head unit and speakers and such, and then went on to explain how they are a perfect match with this amp. But unfortunately they were out of stock there, but he jumped onto his computer and found me one at a different store and had them hold it for me. I think his name was Nick. Great store.

I called to verify that a product was in stock, he told me the computer said there was one in stock, when i asked him to verify as this store isnt close he put me on hold for five minutes and returned saying that no one from that department is picking up and i should not come because they probably dont have it. No effort is put in to help a customer and a chain this big doesnt care about making a sale, plenty more sheep will come to the slaughter

This is my go to best buy. Dont know why it is because they never have what I need in stock. The customer service is sub par especially with returns. You will be lucky if they make eye contact let alone say a word besides is it broken and if it open i cant take it. No thank you or have a nice day. I understand you work at best buy and its not the most glamourous but its your choice to work there. Dont like your job quit. Easy as that
