Horrible Customer Service. Loss my business. Ive always chosen Joann for my fabric needs and I usually use the Clifton Park store but I was looking for something specific this time so they directed me to call the Albany store to see if they had what I was looking for. Calling the Albany store the girl didnt even offer a friendly or custom greeting, just a drab hello? I asked the girl if she knew if they had what I was looking for and she proceeded to put me on hold and then come back 5 minutes later and say that she couldnt look right now that she was too busy, and when I told her I was an hour away and needed to know she told me too bad and that she didnt have time for me. Luckily another Joann store was nice enough to check for what I was looking for and put it aside for me. But I will NEVER shop at the Albany store ever again due to their staff.

Staff is extremely overworked and underpaid just so the district manager can get his bonuses. They also dont receive breaks and dont get flagged because they make you punch out 5 minutes early. Staff dont know what theyre doing because they are never trained because management doesnt care. Management is extremely disrespectful, especially towards staff with disabilities. Its also not too pretty when theyre all standing out front smoking cigarettes. Overstock is insane and gets extremely dangerous when they make you stack it 4ft high off the shelves. The worst and most miserable place to ever work or shop. Never recommending this store.

Always understaffed with a huge line at the registers. Have had several negative experiences at the fabric counter including deliberately misinforming and misusing discounts and skimping on fabric length. Everyone who works here seems miserable to be here and it makes for a bad experience all around. Not to mention this Joannes seems to have worse stock than the others Ive been to, and shares all of the same usual problems Joannes has everywhere.

This Joanns is literally THE WORST. I had no assistance, the line for the line for the fabric cutting was about 20 people long, and when I was finally able to find someone to help me, they literally ditched me to work the register and said "good luck finding your supplies". I will NEVER be returning to this store. Ever.

Good customer service. Second time I have been here and although the selection of fabric and patterns is great (esp for those not making clothing), the lineup and wait at the cutting table is too long. I would have given 5 stars if not for that.

Great store, huge size, I found items to be $.50 (cent) to $1.50 (dollar) fifty more than Micheals in Manhattan (new york city). but for the variety of products, courteous service and convenience of location you cant beat it

Really miserable staff, do not ask the skinny woman in the man-shirt with the long ponytail for help, she is so incredibly rude. If you hate your job quit, dont take it out on customers. I will go to Michaels next time.

Signage for yarn was lackluster and the department was spread out in such a way that the one yarn brand I was looking for was not even in sight of the rest

Horrible experience. Staff is terrible and dont hide that tey feel as if you are bothering them. I recommend using abother store for your craft needs.

Their system is down until 8/23/17. They cant look up their inventory and things cant be bought online and picked up in store.
