The sheer ambiance of the shop with all of its knick knacks and basic needs for tourists in the area combined with an excellent breakfast menu and seating makes this a real gem in the area. Its off the well trodden path and really gives ones a sense of a throw back to the adirondack of old. I highly recommend even just browsing and stopping by.

You will receive really delightful food, both in taste & presentation. Its a cozy place to go especially in the winter time because their wood stove is running. Plus most of all, the owners are warm & friendly. Its a place that you should not miss if youre in the area.

What a gem! Great old building. Neat as a pin inside. Great selection of merchandise. Fantastic food and service. Even a deli counter and a cooler featuring Oscars meats. Just up the hill from Schroon Lake. Stop in for breakfast or lunch - or just to browse.

This is a great little spot hidden on the east side of Schroon Lake. A very charming store with daily breakfast and sandwiches along with lots of charming regional gifts. Theres a grocery and mini hardware section so you dont need to go far for basic necessities.
