I always have to wait for a cashier to acknowledge me and ring me up... Sometimes I really dont mind but a recent experience set me over the edge. 2 registers were open, I chose one and waited for the gentleman in front of me to finish up. As I was waiting, the line for the other register started forming very quickly.. As the gentleman in front of me was wrapping up, the cashier slid the "Register is closed" sign in front of me and started to sign off the computer just as I was stepping forward. I looked to my left to see 5 people who arrived after me standing in the other line and I refused to wait any longer because of the circumstances (and how rudely she slid the sign in front of me)... I proceeded to put my items on the counter and the cashier told me to go to the other register. I replied "I was waiting in your line, now I have to stand and wait in that line? You should have told me before" she replied with "ugh, fine...Ill do it." with an annoyed tone. I dont understand why she couldnt have told me to go to the other line when she originally saw me enter her line... That is what I would have done, I am a cashier myself. I would never turn down a customer unless I absolutely had to, and even then I would have made sure they got rung up with first priority to other customers that arrived after them, but I knew this cashier didnt care enough about me to do that. With each visit I become more and more displeased with the store. Ill give it a couple more tries...

Convenient to my home and a variety of merchandise at reasonable prices. I was looking for an HDMI cable, So I called first to see if they carried them because I didnt want to drive to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart would have been out of my way... but dollar General actually had three. I dont actually think of going to dollar General, but i Will now.
